Why was he rejected, and was he able to appeal?

Well he was under AIPP program and one of the main requirement of this program is to have valid Atlantic provincial endorsement. He seems to have that valid endorsement when he submitted his PR application and after waiting for over six months and all pain he got rejected due to invalid provincial endorsement.
He did not appeal yet and I donot know whether he has right to do so.

I hope this doesn't happen to you. I hope it's just an NA2/NA3. You can always call IRCC to check if there's been an update on your application and ask them specifically about the change to NA. A guide on how to call IRCC is in my signature. Good luck!

Well yes its not me one of my friend under same programe as I am got rejected . So just disappointed and sad for him. My application is still under processing and was received on 8 th Jan, only performed my biometrics yesterday. I hope every thing goes well and I get my PR soon.

Ok I will add my signatures soon. Well I am under program called Atlantic Immigration Pilot program ( its similar to PNP and you have to be endorsed by province in order to apply for PR) requirements are easy compared to other programs. Its imitative by federal govt to populate Atlantic provinces.

I am in Fault IP2 until my PPR. But I am Jan 2019 AOR so might or might not be the same to you.

Newbie here. Looks like a lot of US residents received PPR emails. We haven't seen updates to our application after MEP. No IP2 or anything. I called CIC today and the agent didn't give out any information even when I asked about different stages. Should we order GCMS or wait? Details in my signature.

Political climate. I don't want to get too far into it here, but it's only going to get much worse in my lifetime. Trump has installed so many federal judges (and SCOTUS justices) that our court system is screwed for decades if not longer.

I have IP2 Message since early Feb. My AOR is Dec 18th, Medicals Passed in Jan 30th

Yes. Congratulations. You will need to make sure you already have your photos ready to go according to these requirements. You will also be sending your passports, so make sure you have them handy (1 for each applicant/dependent). In addition, you will probably have an Annex A to complete that you will get from the lawyer.

Most of us just applied to IRCC directly so we already have those requests. However, you can go get your photos done if you don't have them already (make sure about the size, size of the head, and the writing on the back requirements).

What's your nationality and residence country? Assuming India/India? If so, you will probably get PPR soon.

Yes it is India/India. I am not sure I will believe I received PPR if I see the golden mail on April 1. Might be a prank by IRCC lol Jokes aside.
