I got my gic certi today ..
Will apply for visa on last working day of march hope things go right
How do you check this status. I am trying to link my paper based app to online but not found records. Please help
I have linked my file online using information like Passport no., Program start date, program end date which is mentioned in conformation letter.
Try to link one more time. Make sure your application courier has been received by ircc office. If not than try after it reaches to ircc office.
My application ia already recahed in ircc office on 19 march.
I tried many times but it says no records found. I lodge app on 18 march. Do i need to wait more to link

i took emergency appointment on 27/3/19 ... what doc do i need to carry as proof of emergency?
This is what I found from VAC FAQs
"Can I Schedule an Emergency Appointment?
Applicants requesting emergency appointments for the purpose of biometric collection may do so provided suitable proof of the emergency
is presented at the time of the appointment. Suitable proof may include a note or other documentation from an official. Please note that this proof only needs to be presented and will not be collected by the VAC, and that this will provide an emergency biometric appointment but not affect IRCC’s processing time for the application. For any further information or questions, the Contact Centre is able to assist with any inquiries."
I dont think you can qualify for emergency biometrics. Keep checking normal booking slots. Many times next day slots becomes available.
you can also submit file without biometrics.
I have seen some people without an appointment at VFS. They accept some Walk In also. Call your vfs and check with them if they allow. just explain the reason.
