Why do i need to show an ielts result to the canadian immigration office when I have already been accepted to a designated university of canada plus ive also passed their english requirements....

I haven't taken the IELTS but have taken TOEFL, do i really need to give ielts??

IELTS or TOEFL are acceptable.. as long as it shows your English Language proficiency, and the result is good.. then you can use it

Don't make the mistake of not submitting any result of language testing(IELTS or TOEFL) if English is not your first language

I am also similar level as yours.
Yes go ahead and do that also provide your IGCSE.
What I provided was Igcse alevel and ielts however my ielts had expired. So as long as you have proof of English proficiency provide it. My visa got accepted they didn't ask for another IELTS result.

Yes it is absolutely necessary. A good SOP can make or break your application. It is one of the documents that is written in the IRCC website.

You dont have to write much.

Begin by saying you vow to explain with truth why you want to study in Canada. Then begin with your education history. And then explain what you are Aiming to become in the future. This should relate to your previous education. And then state how you researched about universities in different countries and found the university in canada to have been perfect as it has the exact degree you need to fulfil your career goals. And then explain some features you liked about the university and what you plan to do with the degree. This is the important bit, always say you aim to do something in your home country with the degree be it a job or business. And then conclude by stating you know you responsibilities as international student and vow to return as soon as your education is complete. And then sign it.

Hi, I also need assistance in this regards. My IELTS had expired (2013 attempt-7.5 score) so i did not provide the score nor did I mention anything about IELTS in my SOP. I have applied for Master and my bachelor degree was from University of London. Is there any way I can provide this document to CIC now?

There is nothing wrong if your father stands has your sponsor, I know a lady who married too but used her father as a sponsor and she is in Canada now. What matters is the relationship between you and your sponsor, in your case parent-daughter which is very good. But note that it will be good to have some money in your account too, and show both accounts.

All the best.

I will apply through an agency and he told me thay my husband has to be my sponsor not my father ... I was disappointed .... Is it ok to apply through an agency ? Or he is just complicating the case ???

About agencies, I am not the right person to ask. I have done all my applications by myself, of course with the help of God and other people's guidance.

But I know that some agents are really good. I have also heard that some of them complicate matters too. Maybe that's how your agent understands it, perhaps he has his reasons. Maybe ideally the husband should be one's sponsor, but like I said your parents can also be your sponsor. Explain this to your agent. Your parents are your parents, they can decide to sponsor your travels, schooling whether or not you are married, IRCC also knows i guesss

What do you mean by borrowed money? I don't think I agree with you. The VOs are not interested if its a borrowed money or not, the only way that raises concern to them is if it was a loan letter submitted as a proof of funds which might make them be curious for the authenticity of it.

If there is a gap in your studies, the VO expect you to be working and you need to show your own personal BS along with that of your sponsor.

Even if you show properties, it will only counts for home ties and not proof of sufficient funds to cover the living expenses.

One's own personal BS suppose to show the $10,000cad required for living expenses for the first year by CIC while the sponsor's BS will show enough funds needed for the sponsorship support for the subsequent year.

If there is a gap in your studies and you submit just your sponsor's BS, then you might be rejected for "financial status" which is mostly a common reason

I will advise you @Mmalik99 to submit both your personal BS and that of your sponsor if you have a gap in your studies but if you don't have a gap, your sponsor can state it in the sponsorship letter that the amount in your account was paid into it by him which is required for your one year's living expenses, and also you can state in it your SOP too

I will be taking an education loan from a government-approved national bank by mortgaging my father's property. And as financial proof, I will be submitting the loan sanction letter from the bank. In addition to this, I will attach mine and my father's bank statements to show we get a steady monthly income. But the main document to show the financial proof would be the education loan sanction letter.
will these documents be enough?

"The VOs are not interested if its a borrowed money or not, the only way that raises concern to them is if it was a loan letter submitted as a proof of funds which might make them be curious for the authenticity of it."
According to your above comment, will they still be skeptical about the authenticity of the loan sanction letter from the bank?
OR
can you please explain what exactly you meant by "if it was a loan letter submitted as a proof of funds which might make them be curious for the authenticity of it."

Thank you
