Any updates on your application? I have been waiting for 3 months since adding my spouse to my application on Dec 4th. No response other than "view dependent" on my online account. not even medical request from CIC yet.
My application was submitted on Oct 1 and my "View Dependent" was displayed on Nov 1. I haven't received any response as well. My application has been transferred to Vancouver office on Nov 8. I am assuming they started to process my case from that date. It has been four months now.

Benlee, I have the exact same situation with you. They added my common-law spouses documents on Oct 12 and then transferred file to Vancouver on Oct 26. No any activity or updates since than. Almost 5 months now.
Let's keep in touch if anything changes.

Also, if someone has any information related to Vancouver VO processing times and activity Please share here!

@ravish02 I sent my wife's docs on April 2 with her upfront e-medical, got a request for my e-medical (PA) 20 days later. Submitted my e-medical on May 2, which got passed on May 5.

So I'm feeling curious, is the processing time of 6-8 weeks from the time I submitted the initial docs of my wife or from the time I submitted my e-medical? Sorry to bother you with a silly question like this, but I'm just feeling very restless waiting for the PPR. Checking the CIC account 8-10 times every day :D
How did you know that your spouse passed the medical test??

Timelines totally depend on your luck and visa office, it could be anything. As I was told by the ircc agent, six months timeline doesn't apply anymore since we made changes to the profile and it depends on the visa officer, when he/she decides to work with the application (even though it was our must to make these changes). For me its already 5 month passed, no updates.
It's a good sign for you that they are requesting medicals so fast after addition of your spouse, it means that they are at least looking at it. Good luck! What's your VO by the way? I'm also trying to figure out timelines for my VO.

Hi Vdpatel143! I'm pretty sure your situation is same as ours.
Ordering gcms notes will give you the most accurate information, however it takes at least 30 days to get. If you order, don't forget about the consent form) You can also call an agent and ask if everything is ok with your application and which VO is processing it.
Good luck with your application and keep us posted! That would be very helpful for us waiting here!

I have the same thoughts as well. Seems recent cases where we add spouse are taking really long to process and are also transferred to the visa offices closest to the PA’s country of residence.

As for my case, it was transferred from Ottawa to Singapore office 4 months after I submitted documents for my spouse in July’18. Nothing happened during these 4 months other than my spouse being added as a dependent in my profile. Singapore office is treating it like a new application, so which means it could take up to 6 months from when they received it in Nov’18. My medicals meanwhile expired end of last year, and I received medical request for myself in mid Feb’19, which I did and medical status changed to passed a few days later. No updates since.

Only good sign like you mentioned is that someone has at least started looking into it. So a grand total of 8 months for me and still counting.

No reply for adding spouse mail sent to CPC Ottawa. Anyone knows how fast they reply. I mailed them twice as in the requested format 20 days and 10 days ago. NO REPLY YET!
