Another reason not to use agents!

Sorry to say, but this was exactly my issue. 2171 was right NOC but entered 2173. I was refused even though I also performed duties of 2173. They qanf you to settle with the NOC that covers 70% of your tasks. Just get ready to get another ITA.
At least now you know. During my time I wasn't aware as I hadn't ordered gcms notes. So I was blindsided.
Do you mean you used 2173 as primary NOC on online form and all your experience was for 2173? Do you have a copy of your notes from last rejection by any chance?

@Peacekeeper87 Hey thanks for the reply...I agree with you...But I am in slightly different boat to everyone else with NOC mismatch....
Here are further notes from CPA-

My issue is my consultant didn't bother checking the online forms properly and chose '2281' as NOC as the primary NOC when all my explanations and work letters are based on NOC '2282'....it is a very silly clerical mistake....
Even though I have raised a CSE requesting my primary NOC to be changed to 2282 as 2281 was a mistake on the form....
I am not sure what else I could do as agent as verified and satisfied with all my work experience....

From what I see in your notes, the officer has assessed your jobs based on NOC 2282 ( I can almost swear that the NOC mentioned on the notes are based on the NOC you provided (they have updated the NOC on your file based on your request. Your says ' Review Required' which is fine and I would think it is fairly common to have that .

There is no mention of a NOC mismatch in your notes so you should be good .

However, in the OP's post, it was explicitly mentioned that A11.2 was not met and unfortunately, that spells trouble.

Well, they made that decision in December. Ideally, if they determined that you are not eligible in December, you should have received a refusal by now. There are couple of reasons why this could have happened -

1. The officer just forgot about the application (being lethargic) or is on vacation and hasn't joined back yet.

2. Before they could inform you of the refusal and update it in the application, they received your NOC update request and they decided not to refuse it.

Having said that, it is impossible for us to determine which one of the above actually transpired. I would recommend that you call the IRCC call center and request more information . Tell them, in detail, about your case and they'll be able to tell (at least) if it is being processed or if it is in the queue for refusal.

I wish Call center agents were more helpful as they do not bother telling much....I was lucky once to find out 'Eligibility not met' over the phone but you are right I will try again....I do not think ordering notes would be helpful as everyone else that is on 'Eligibility not met' didn't see any changes in notes after ordering notes....

Thanks for your insight anyways!!

dear Buddies,

I have 3 years gap time in educational history...is it a matter at CIC stage? how can I get rid of this matter...? p/s: I am sending docz paper based soon...Longing for your valuable advise....

https://www.cicnews.com/2013/12/common-immigration-mistakes-making-123120.html#gs.3YxTMG0F

1) Inconsistencies in Personal and Educational History – Applications for permanent residency, as well as some applications for temporary residency, require individuals to list in detail their travel history, personal history, and/or educational history. There should be absolutely no gaps in this history. Unexplained periods of time, even as short as a week, must be accounted for.

There should be absolutely no gap in the personal history section. If you were not doing anything during a period of time, you should say you were 'unemployed' or 'traveling' ( if you were traveling). In the education history section, you would mention the education credential for which you are claiming points for . If there is a gap there, you should have submitted a letter of explanation along with your application to explain the gap .

It is simple. Are you claiming points for that education or no? If yes, you should mention it in the education history section. When you say gaps, do you mean gap in between the same degree/diploma (like you took 6 years to complete a 4 year course because you decided to travel for 2 years in between) OR gap between 2 different degrees/diplomas (like you completed your bachelor's successfully, traveled for a couple of years and then started with your Masters degree)?

If it is the latter, no letter of explanation is required. If it is the former, then you can include a letter to tell IRCC why you had a gap. But remember, in personal history, you can't have any gaps - I can't emphasize this enough; I've seen people take this lightly and either get a schedule A request or get their application refused. If you were not doing anything, write unemployed for that time period.

AOR : 18 Sept 2018 (Note : I uploaded only ECA copies in the Education section, assuming that would do the job).
ADR for Schedule A (IMM5669e) : 12 Oct 2018 with a deadline of 7 days. (They had not specified what was missing in my application or where, just that they want me to submit the Schedule A background declaration form along with my original signature within 7 days. I've got no travel history, no refusals in the past, etc.).
ADR uploaded on : 14 Oct 2018

Today (22 Oct) I found out/remembered that I had not uploaded my degree certificate copies in the Education section of my PR application.
I learnt from various forums that missing to upload degree certificates is a common refusal/cancellation reason. So I used the web form (case specific enquiry) to upload the degree certificate copies. From the instructions, I assume it will take upto 5 days for them to appear in my profile.

Hoping that I have not missed anything else, could you guys kindly let me know if there are any other steps I should be looking at?
Hi, i made the same mistake. I submitted only ECA and IELTS certificate. I am thinking of using CSE to attach my MSC certificate after i read that it is mandatory. What was the outcome of yours cse?

You will not clear the FSW Minimum Eligibility Criteria if you don't have at least 12 months of experience.
