I will wholeheartedly agree to this. My LOE was more of a cover page explaining in advance any red flags that you may encounter. I had a few things I was not 100% sure about... (In fact immigrant consultant advised to not apply) but decided I should come out front and write about the red flags so that I don't give the impression I'm hiding something.

The key is to know that the agents looking at our files are human beings just like us. Some of them have good days... and some have bad days. The key is to get on their good side so that they can trust the applicant and feel that they will make a positive change to Canada. And so when they have to go through 20 files, each at least fifty if not a hundred pages long, an applicant with a simple LOE with mention of any possible red flags will not be scrutinized as much...

Just my two cents. YMMV
What kind of red flags did you have to cover in your LOE?

I'm actually with same time line as abhinav o_O.. still no progress, stuck at ip2.
FSW-Outland | AOR - 11 Dec | MEP - 22 Jan | IP1 - 23 Jan | IP2 - 13 Feb | Waiting for PPR ...;)
Atleast you got your IP2. I have seen zero movement on my account after MEP. Even the CIC agent said I am still at the eligibility stage and there is no VO mentioned on my case.
Really hoping things start moving soon.

Also experts, I wanted to ask if I can quit my job before the process is completed? I wanted to quit by May but I don't think I will get the PPR email by then. Should I quit and inform IRCC and will that affect my application? Should I just keep my head down and keep working here till I get the PPR email and quit only after that?
Looking for a friend!
Thanks!

In order to avoid hassle it is always advisable to quit your job after receiving PPR. I’m willing to quit my job too but only after I receive my PPR email.
PS: I’m no expert. Let me wait for an expert opinion.

Yes, just wait for the Golden email and then raise exit request.

What does your background check status say?
