@Bryanna - Thanks so much again, I am happy to report back that my dad's passport was delivered by courier last weekend with a PG1 Stamp until expiry of his passport in 2028. Thanks again for the timely help and guidance.

P.S: My MP's office did call CIC MP line and called me back on Feb 26 to confirm that app was delayed because CIC was waiting for more medical info from panel physician and CIC received it on Feb 22. They were helpful as well.
