Hello guys, I'm new here.
I have been in the EE pool since May 2018 at 432 points.
I just recently updated my working experiences (>3 years) so my score jumped to 444.
Being French-speaking and IELTS CLB 8+, I wonder what it takes to receive a NOI from Ontario. May be it's because of my NOC 2131 that is not needed in Ontarion ?
Any information would be much appreciated.
Thank you all.

Hi,
With 444, you should be good for a direct ITA in the next couple of draws. However, for the Ontario French Speakers stream, you would need to write TEF/TCF Canada.

Thank you for your reply.
I did indeed take the TEF test in May 2017 and scored CLB 8/9 and it seems OK for me to be selected by Ontario.
The selection criteria of this program isn't quite clear to me.
Yes, you should be eligible with upwards of CLB7 in French and CLB6 in English.
To be selected for the OINP FSSW though, you would need to select French as your first language, whether or not it reduces your current CRS scores. Have you done that?
For your case, with 444, perhaps you should wait for the next few draws and see. I think you stand a good/great chance...

Thank you. I did put English as 1st language and French 2nd to maximize my score, probably that's why.
Anyway, I gonna loose 5pt for aging at the end of March, that brings me down to 439. I think I'll stick around for a few EE draws till then. If no luck I gonna put French as 1st language and go with OINP FSSW (score 422).

Do you think it's a good strategy ?

Sounds like a plan!
Good luck...

Check this https://www.ontario.ca/page/oinp-express-entry-notifications-interest

NB: you must select either "ALL provinces" or " Ontario" in your express entry profile

Hi Dears,

As we all would like to anticipate OINP and some lucky ones have already received notification of interests from Ontario in 2019. Lets get together here, chat, discuss, share updates, discuss our timelines, and then share good news...

There is a good thread with info on OINP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/oinp-ee-human-capital-priorities-stream-comprehensive-guide-t396543.0.html prepared by rajkamalmohanram. and

Good luck to everyone!

The first reason is the decline of invitations of 1493 candidates and the choice of people to go for ita directly so they are waiting that the 45 days finish to see how many people applied from the draw of 14 Jan 2019 with CRS 439 inspite that nobody will apply because they got ITA with CRS 438 in 24 JAN 2019
2- they are waiting for their final qouta of nominations from federal .
3- waiting for the score of EE to did not make the same mistake that was made in 14 JAN 2019

This is my opinion only and it is not official

By analogy with March 2018 draws, I think the next draw will take place tomorrow followed by an other draw on Tuesday the 5th March

NOI - Ontario - French Speaking Skilled Workers :

March 27, 2018 -------------10 ------------------- Mar 6, 2019
March 26, 2018 ------------299 ------------------- Mar 5, 2019
March 23, 2018----------------5 ------------------- Mar 1, 2019
March 1, 2018 ----------------11 ------------------ Feb 7, 2019

Express Entry Invitations

Mar 26, 2018 --------- 446 ( after almost 2 weeks) ---------------- Mar 4, 2019
Mar 14, 2018 --------- 456 ( after 3 weeks)--------------------------- Feb 20, 2019 (after 3 weeks)
Feb 21, 2018 --------- 442 -------------------------------------------- Jan 30, 2019

Hello guys, I have CRS score of 423 with NOC 2174 which comes under information technology. I created my EE profile with my wife as co-applicant on 29th July 2018. I checked all provinces in my profile. I will lose 5 points on my birthday in September 2019. Do I have any chance of getting ITA from Ontario or some other province?

In my opinion you have chances in the next HCP Draw My Question why you were not selected in the previous Draws because in some Draw Last year they sent NOI for Candidates with CRS 351

And your EE profile was created in July 2018 I will check the last year Draws and update you

Sorry I checked the Ontario HCP stream last year the minimum CRS was 427
The ones with CRS 351 was done for job offer in Ontario and french speakers

But be optimistic the first draw in 14 JAN 2019 you can consider it as void .

There is any option to increase your CRS to GEt ITA directly like ILets ,French ...

Also you can think about Alberta their min CRS is 300 as I have seen before

I believe it depends on your score and your skills listed on your express entry profile.OINP send nominations to people who have listed french as a first language. There isnt any noc demand list as some other provinces already have.
