Citizenship: Apply from Calgary or Grande Prairie

Good Morning Everybody,

I’m seeking some advice with regards to my wife’s citizenship applications. She completed the residency requirement last week and we would like to apply right away so we can get this process done and over with. We have a permanent address in Calgary but we’ve mostly been living in Grande Prairie. In terms of a quicker processing time, we’re wondering which address to provide in our application (Calgary or Grande Prairie). I’ve heard from a lot of people that Calgary has a relatively quicker processing time, but i’m keen to know if it would be beneficial to use Grande Prairie.

Use your Calgary address and provide an email address to get correspondence from them . They're an efficient office. My process took 9 months and they had a backlog with the oath ceremonies.
If for some reason you need to submit fingerprints they would mail the request to you so still check your mail often.
