Why did they restrict to 3350 at a CRS of 457? (considering the target and the only draw in Feb)
Maybe because they plan on doing a draw next week.

Hello guys,
My score is 453 - what do you think my chances are in the forthcoming rounds?

I created my EE profile this February.
My birthday comes in August, post which I start losing points.

Shall I work on improving my IELTS score or shall I wait for a couple of months.

Please advise.

Regards,
Gautam
I would suggest you to wait. You would get ITA in the next draw unless they again do a draw after 3 weeks gap (very unlikely though).

Hi guys,
My score is 457. Now I created my profile on 26th June 2018. But after receiving ielts score on 1 Feb 2019, I updated my profile on 3rd Feb. Now will I get ita this time because the tie breaker is for 6th dec 2018?
You will get ITA as the profile creation date is considered for the tie breaker.

How are they gonna reach this year's target if they keep inviting lower numbers each draw compared to last year
Last year from Jan to Mar they were inviting around 2750 to 3000 applicants in each draw. So it is an increase if you compare that.

They can continue with the same ITAs throughout the year and have some 1 week gap draws OR they can increase the ITAs being issued gradually as they did last year. In both scenarios, they would achieve their targets by end of year.

Ok thanks doc. When would you expect it to go down to 438 again ?

Congrats to all those who got through today!

The bad news is that they are sticking with 3350 ITAs. Hopefully, going forward they do 1 week gap draws, otherwise there is no ray of hope.
it seems things are going in that gloomy direction.... but no one knows what the days ahead bring. Keep your options open might help a lot!!

There are already 3,365 people above 451 as of Feb 14... i guess the next round will also come with a CRS in the 450s. Hang in there fellas, the road ahead might be a bumpy one.

DRAW PREDICTIONS:

Draw 111 - Feb 20 - 3350 ITAs - CRS 457

Variance is +/- 3.

OR

Draw 111 - Feb 20 - 3900 ITAs - CRS 451

Variance is +/- 3.
So what do you think would be the next cut-off??? And when would it most likely be?

Yes, it is always recommended to try all possible options to increase CRS.

Yes, you can do that. To keep your PR status active, you need to be in Canada for at least 2 years in a 5 year period. So, if you land in Canada on June 1, 2019 then you need to be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days (need not be continuous) between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2024.

If you want to apply for citizenship, you need to be physically present for 3 out of 5 years.

If the baby is also a PR, same residency requirements apply.
Thank you. Am relieved now. Am particularly bothered about taking care of baby and working same time since daycare fees are high. So might keep baby in home country and bring her back a year later or there about
