I have a question regarding POF. I am currently in Canada. I have got ITA under skilled worker category. I am getting $13500 as gift from my mother. The account from which the money is transferred has my mother as the main account holder and my father as joint holder( Either or Survivor). Now the issue is, i am not sure about the gift deed.1. Should I get the gift deed and affidavit just from my mother 2. or a single gift deed from both my mother and father together 3. or two separate gift deeds and affidavits from my mother and father. Please guide me . Thank you in advance

Pre-Assessed..
Yes
Just from your mother is enough. I had a similar issue even though my mother was not the main account holder and had a joint account still i got the gift deed from her only. Hope that helps.

Yes when I last ordered gcms notes, they didn't have any issue with my POF but with eligibility hence the interview...
I have two concerns about POF
1. Do my mother have to register the gift deed from registrar office by paying the stamp duty?
2. Do i have to provide the 6 months statement of my credit card as well?

Not sure what you mean by registrar office. Basically you need to get an affidavit made which should be a notarized copy and also have signtaure of both gift giver and reciever along with thumb prints. Often times people get it made from legal/court institutes.

Secondly yes you also still need to attach your 6 months bank statements along with 6 months bank statement of the bank account of the person who is giving the gift. Last thing you need to get is a bank certificate (for visa purpose), which perhaps you are already aware of.

My gift deed don't have thumb impressions. So, will it be an issue? Secondly my father transferred 1 lac rupees to my mom's account from my father's and my joint account. So do i need the statement of both my dad's account as well as my Mom's account?

Gift deed is not required if you are already in Canada. Someone can always send you money for your financial support, there is no limit on that and you dont even have to report this to CRA.

Since you already in Canada and working, you come under CRA rules. You do not need to give any gift deed if you are getting money for your financial support. So show your POF where ever you are required.
