Hi guys,
I need some serious advice fron all of you. This forum is very friendly and has helped me through this endless wait.
My AOR is 26 april 2018 and i was working in Toronto at the time. My husband is working in Dubai. After applying for pr my company was downsizing so my position was eliminated in June. In September I decided to come visit my husband in Dubai on a 3 month visit visa while looking for a job in Toronto. We hoped by November the PR would come but turns out we are in SS so no signs until dec end too. We were contemplating whether I should take up job offers in Toronto but feared the PR might take too long and we don’t want to do long distance with such uncertainty,
I extended my visit visa hoping by Jan it would show up but now we are considering I take a residence visa in Dubai and stay here until the PR shows up because my husband can sponsor me here and i also have job offers here and dubai Residency takes only 10 days.
But we are not sure how this will affect my pr application and what updates should I send them? Will my file get rejected even though all is passed and SS is going in since June 26. Is it okay to get a Dubai Residency while pr is in process for Cec express entry.
Please advice us as we are so distressed and have no clue what to do. Our life is hanging between 2 countries.

Nope it's not. Read the last 4 paragraphs in the link you shared. On the link you shared only states that S.15/S.16 are sections that can be used to redact information under ATIP.
The link I shared states, "the status of Security will always be empty, even when you receive your PPR" meaning the agency chooses to redact the status of Security after completing Security checks.
I tried looking at a few cases and every case I saw Security Status was redacted under S.15
Another point here is, @arash2002 has his Eligibility as well as criminality 'Passed'. That puts weight behind my theory that his Security too is Done and his file is waiting for final review.
@arash2002 do you know the location of your file? If so, I would suggest you email that office asking for a status.

More than one month ago, I emailed Ottawa about the status of my application and they answered that they are waiting for some internal processing for my application.("Please be informed that we are awaiting the results of some internal processing prior to the finalization of your application. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times. At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated")
Do you think it is beneficial to email them once more?
Are you sure, the file is at Ottawa?
Let's do this. Call CIC ask three questions:
1. What is the latest status on your file wrt Eligibility, Criminality & Security?
2. What is the current location of your file?
3. What's remaining on your file?
And let us know what you hear.
I should add that before sending email to Ottawa, I had sent an email to Ankara VO which is usually responsible for issuing visa for Iranians. They told me that my file is not with them and it is being processed in CPC Ottawa. That's why I think that my file is there.
Yup, the info might be outdated. Please call and confirm. It will also help us establish if everything we discussed is correct.
Hello people, i received my PPR email yesterday. congratulations to me!!!!!!!
some people might be aware about this from whatsapp group already. For people who are still waiting dont lose hope you guys are almost there and PPR is very close. I almost jumped from my building waiting for it and wouldnt be here to write to you guys if the email would have been delayed even a day. so thanks Delhi immigration for saving my life(who i am definitely going to block after receiving my COPR, for taking this much time ).
Thanks everyone on this forum(including me) for everything we have been through together on this forum. you guys have been a great company and i feel great about meeting you guys. i will be here to positively contribute from my end in what ever way possible.

That is what I am saying. Every information about security including starting date and finalizing date gets redacted. Then I still don't get how you are telling that his SS is finished cuz even if it is finished we wouldn't know.
No, mine is redacted under s.21
It is usually the case for all applicants under SS. Usually, SS takes a long time. That is why people pass everything else and still have to wait long to get ppr. I know applicants who applied in 2017. They passed everything else, but they are still waiting for ppr.
I still don't understand how you are saying that @arash2002 security is done and he will get ppr soon.
Anyways, I hope you are right and he gets his ppr soon.
