Oh jeez, I did not know everything was supposed to be capital. I tried 5 times I would not get anything and now I'm locked out because you can only try 5 times in 24 hours. Just a question, at the very end it asks how many people on the application. Do I just put 1 because its just my wife or do I include myself also and put 2?
I was told to put 2 for PR. It worked. When I tried 1 it didn't work

Hello everyone,
my spouse and I sent an application for spousal (common-law) on 7th Oct 2018. Application received in Oct 17th, got an email requesting to me to go for medicals on Dec 2018. Medicals passed January 4th 2019.

I did not send my application with OWP. now i want to send my OWP application. I am an international student currently studying part-time and not working. My question is will studying part-time this affect my OWP application ? I am worried because in the checklist it says proof of being in school full-time which I was only full-time student last semester. Do i need to write a letter explaining this? even though I was not working while I attended school part time.
I will appreciate any of your help.

Even if you don't have UCI you can try link your application.
There are options. You can choose UCI and first name or first name, last name and date of birth.
My application is received 5th Dec and no AOR yet.
Also I can't link my applicaion with my UCI or other options.
This works for eTA as well?

Make sure you write everything from your application for example birth place CITY TOWN: ARKANSAS / SOMEWHERE
So it's very sensitive and you have to write two spaces as well if you wrote in application document. This is how i linked with capital letters.

Hey Everyone
I've been trying for ages to link my application and I finally did it!!!!! THIS IS HOW

(1) Go to this below listed link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category and subcategory that you applied for.
(6) Then select Application Number and Family name
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form. PUT YOUR FAMILY NAME IS THIS FORMAT - Smith (ensuring the first letter is capitalized) THEN PUSH SPACE BAR ONCE. Then fill in Application number and AGAIN PUSH SPACE BAR ONCE.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH, DO NOT FILL IN ANY PASSPORT INFORMATION. AGAIN WRITE ON THE SAME FORMAT (CAPITALISED FIRST LETTER OF YOUR CITY) AND PUT A SPACE AFTERWARDS
(9) Select Province and town you intend to live in (as on your IMM0008) and select current marital Status.
(10) Finally select 2 as the number of family members AND AGAIN ADD A SPACE AT THE END.
(11) Once you fill all information, Click on Search for my application
(12) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(13) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

GOOD LUCK LINKING!!

yes. You just don't have UCI so use other options.
when you try link your application, choose the question given name and family name OR application number (after getting AOR).
And it seems still Dec 7,8 received applicants getting AOR. so.. if your application is received 10 Dec, it would take few more days getting AOR.
Also, I couldn't link my application untill the day I got AOR.

If you can see any thread that shows people who applied on Dec 10/2018 and Dec 12/2018 are able to link the application you should be able to link the application too.... once you link the application you will get AOR on the same day... but for some people you have to wait until you get the AOR email... if you are able to see your application status in ecas - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do.. probably you might be able to link the application... i heard many people are not able to see any status online
In our case, my spouse was able to link his PR and his OWP last week, but we never received any AOR. Our application was received Dec 3.
