Hi guys can any one tell me which number should i call to contact cic regarding my Express entry file . i will be calling from india ?

i tried this number - +16139444000 and i have been told that this is not the right number to call as this is only for immigration/citizenship help centre for people living in canada ?

i think ottawa cleared up its batches last week. the office hour is from 8am to 4pm. i was expecting something from sydney.

mine is at ottawa only so was eagerly waiting for them to start issuing PPR for applicants .

Not true, try reaching a different agent. I usually have to press options 1111122 to reach the status IVR, Press 1 to listen to the status and then press 0 to talk to rep.

Well Feb 8 is not so far. Hope you get some news by then! Good to see a non template response.

I guess Sydney might move the cases to Ottawa or other VOs to issue PPR so we might still see more PPRs issues by Ottawa. I'm waiting for mine as I got a ghost update on 25/26th Jan.


On the other hand I tried to give CIC a call but they are busy, should I raise a CSE again today? My last CSE was on 2nd Jan and I was told my application was moved to a VO (it was Sydney before). So its possible that my VO is no longer sydney but Ottawa.

My security started 4oct still waiting for the ppr. What is the new average time for SS clearance. (Silent reader)

I think the average time for SS is 9 months. (considering that most SS starts 2-3 months after AOR and aren't cleared till like 12months).

Yup for that, call twice around 4:30 am and if you don't succeed call at 5:00 am (India Time)

i think you should call. i think your file got approved. try continously.
