haha oh my god! this is crazy. are you CEC inland? I am CEC inland, working almost two years for the same company here in Toronto. What are they waiting for? I really do not understand!!

Yep, same as you. CEC Inland working almost 2 years for the same company.

It's not even the slow processing times that annoys me, it's the lack of recourse and channels of communication available to applicants when IRCC fails to meet its own service standards.

MEP : 1st week of Sep
IP1: 1st week of Sep
IP2: January 15, 19

Some sort of relief after a long waiting time. Now will see how much to wait for ppr email.
Decided to order gems notes today so opened my account and it's changed to ip2 though haven't got any email for this update yet but when i've opened my account it changed to ip2. Checked yesterday it was ip1.

Hopefully, by end of this month we all will get that golden email we're waiting for

Same situation. Really don't know what's causing the hold-up

Just gave the CIC a call to see what's going on with my application. Currently in IP2 and have been since July 23 with an AOR of July 8.

The agent said that my case was still undergoing background checks, which he said was conducted by a separate entity from CIC. No further updates could be provided, other than to say that a final decision will be made by an officer on the completion of those background checks.

I really hope that it hasn't somehow got lost in the system...

Just got the golden email!

AOR: July 3rd
RPRF: July 23rd
PPR: January 19th

I've been in IP2 since July, got a ghost update last month which changed my documents from being in review to not applicable. I sent an email asking about my VO and for a status update on Wednesday, not sure if that's a coincidence or not but it's the first time I tried to get in touch.

That's usual, I honestly think they are facing a huge backlog and we need to wait...

yeah I remember your AOR.
I was just trying to say that they are still holding May AORs, when they all are over the six months, which is actually very very frustrating.

I was equally exhausted with the process. But, they gave mine within the "6 months processing" timeline (4 days before my 6th month completing). To be precised, I got mine in 180 days.
So, keep looking and I'd say stay patient at least till your 6th month approaches. And, I'm sure you'll get yours very soon
They have more batches being processed per week now. Friendly reminder, also keep an eye on your SPAM folder as well.

HI everyone, i see this thread mainly talking about applicants who are CEC or inland candidates. Is there anyone who has applied from India and AOR is of July and got the PPR. My AOR is for July 26th and the last update happened on the additional documents reviewed on 18 Dec 2018.

or should i open a new case with them asking about the ETA.

Same, Inland CEC applicant working for the same company in Toronto from last 2 years. On 23rd december i called CIC they informed me that the decision has been made, so they advised me to wait for the office to contact me. I am still waiting for them to contact me.

Where is your application getting processed?., Mine is getting processed in Sydney, Nova Scotia and they are famous for long processing time.
