Hello guys,

I need your thoughts on this since I am applying for EE. I'm a Business Systems Analyst. Is the NOC 2171 acceptable for NOC 2171 as a Business Systems Analyst?

Title doesn’t matter your responsibility does :)

Title business system analyst is covered under 2171 but it depends on what you list your responsibilities as! If you identify NOC by title but you’re doing something else then it could have issues else it safe! :)

· Perform gap analysis on existing product with stakeholders and business users to create road maps for enhancements that are detailed in the requirements.

· Consults with clients to outline and document business needs and objectives, current project operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access and document project-based functions and processes.

· Act as a liaison between end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts and consultants in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance in the project.

· Analyze the feasibility of potential changes to the system and develop requirements with enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.

· Track and fully document project lifecycle and changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.

· Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
