Your dad was tested for TB. These tests can take time. IRCC/panel physician can request for additional tests and/or a course of medicines if there is a reason for concern or just to be double sure there's no reason for concern.

There's nothing you can do. Do keep checking the 'Medicals' status. He will hopefully get a passport request in a couple of weeks after he passes these medical tests
Hi Bryanna

I just wanted to share my update just in case if you have any suggestion. I contacted the visa office as my dad's online status is showing "your action is required" even after the confirmation from PP that he sent the test report.

I heard back from the visa office that the test report is still pending for Medical Officer's review. They couldn't confirm the estimated date for finalization of this application process however, confirmed that the processing is proceeding.

Do you think I should send any further communication to Regional Medical Office (New Delhi)?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Hello everyone, I hope I'm not deviating much from the topic with my question. I landed on September 25th 2018 as FSW immigrant with COPR, and started working on 22nd October as a temp employee at a government organization with a salary that safely meets the minimum income required to apply for a Super Visa for both my parents. I was wondering if I'm eligible to apply even though I naturally haven't filed any tax returns yet and haven't earned the given amount for three people yet ($38,185). But with my bi-weekly paychecks (4 so far) they can get an idea of my annual income.

I have everything else in line and as per the requirements, the only concern is: Would they consider my so far earned income as proof of Minimum necessary gross income, and my job offer letter that clearly says Full-time Casual Employee (I can get another letter and more proof).

Thanks you very much.

Nope. Future income is only speculative. Do wait until you can prove you meet LICO

Hi mannual,

Super visa is different from TRV. With super visa your mum can get up to 10 years visa and can stay up to 2 years on her first visit, while with TRV she can only stay for 6 months on her first visit.

If you are applying for super visa your mum doesn't have to provide a proof of financial income, yours should cover for her, but you must meet LICO for 6 people.

You may also direct your questions to Bryanna, he is mum of an expert in these areas. thank you. :)
thanks walera. she got madical request : so im guessing its apositive sign;

Also by applying so soon after moving to Canada it is interpreted as wanting you parents to move with you to Canada which they are not allowed to do.

There is question that asks the applicant who he or she wants to visit and their relationship. If you selected parent then you won’t have the option for supervisa but if you selected child then you will have the option to either apply for permanent resident, supervisa or TRV. I hope this helps.

Hello everyone,

I have a question. Me & my wife are planning to apply for a super visa for my mother in law. My mother in law doesn't have a last name in her passport. What do I need to fill the last name section on the online application? I can't leave the space blank as it is a mandatory filed.
I also have another question about her employment. She never worked and I did indicate that in the employment section. However, the year/month/date field has been highlighted to be filled in. How do I surpass it? What should I provide in those columns?
I would really appreciate if some one could kindly reply at the earliest.

Thanks

It's advisable to submit at least one recent NOA along with other financial evidence of your ability to support your mom's super visa stay

She must enter her entire given name in the family name field.... and leave the given name field as blank.

It's for the last 10 years. She can state 'Homemaker' or 'Not employed' and fill the dates i.e. last 10 years to the current date
