LOL. Anywhere from weeks to months. I was told AVERAGE is 6 to 8 months

12th of December marks a one year anniversary of my security screening. I would like to thank the competent people at IRCC responsible for Security Screening process for their lethargic work ethics. I am sure it is extremely hard to find out if a candidate’s passport is flagged anywhere in the world.

Our application gong on 2 years in January and they JUST start ss on Oct 23. Awesome

This is too long man. Why don’t you try filing a writ of mandamus ?

Unfortunately, that does mean that you are under security screening. Apply for CBSA notes.

My Aor 6 April 18, Ip2-18 May 18 Eligibility,Criminality,Info sharing,Security done.
But Security and criminality of my spouse is pending

I just got CSIS notes from getgcms notes,I feel sad that I am in Security screening,But there is a date saying “”file pertaining to Mr Xx received on November 20 2018””
1-Does that means CSIS received file on 20/11/2018.
2-Does CBSA have finished his part??
3-How much time CSIS takes to finalise Security screening file.

CSIS starts the security screening after receing report from CBSA. So I presume that CBSA is done with your security.

Mainly because I have been advised time and again that my re-med request is coming in a matter of days now... Not weeks, Not months but days... and I am hanging on to a fools hope. Besides, writ of mandamus sounds kind of expensive...

I’m at 14 months since SS, and 18 months since AOR. It seems it’s getting more common for files to take this long these days.
