hello,
I want to know the estimate time for my PPR or update in my application
timeline is
Appllication submitted: 3 Feb
Med Paased 13 feb
Additional documents requested: RCMP Certified criminal record check on 13 feb
Add document submitted 5 march ( then status changed to: add document provided and uploaded:
Then additional document status changed to: Not Applicable after 2-3 days
What is the next probable step? Will it change to: We are reviewing additional documents you provided
OR
We do not need additional documents
OR
Can I directly get PPR?
BG status is: BG check is in progress
Application; is in progress
Please give your valuable inputs if someone has goes through this kind of situation
I really need visa by end of March
is it possible?
Hi there,
I believe you have already got your PR. How long it took to get PPR after submitting your RCMP certificate? Thanks

I strongly urge everyone to not rely on this IP1/NA1...etc scheme to "predict" where their application is, as it's very unreliable and most of all, unofficial.
I've seen many status in "We are Processing your background check" since AOR, which would mean IP2 since the first day! There is no reliable way other than GCMS notes, to know where your application actually is.
How long from IP2 to PPR?... How long from IP1 to IP2?... Stuck in IP1?.... These questions have no meaningful answer really.

My case is similer to yours .
ITA : 21ST DEC
AOR: 6TH MARCH
MEP: 7TH MARCH
IP2: 7TH MARCH.

MY FILE WENT TO IP2 DIRECTLY . DONT KNOW THE REASON .
PLEASE UPDATE ME IF YOU RECEVIE PPR .
How do u know that was IP2 and not IP1? I'm very confused about this xD

I checked my status today, I am in IP2. let's hope PPR will come with Santa :) or even before ;)

ITA 11 Jul 18
AOR 8 Aug 18
MEP 31 Aug 18

As mentioned in a comment above, these status messages are mere guidelines. And one cannot predict the status without GCMS notes.
It is true. But looking at the data provided by volunteers including me, a general timeline can be drawn of the events.
The situation is different since when EE was introduced. Now most of the complete applications are being processed within the CIC timeline of 4-6 months. And if ADR is raised, it's mostly raised in IP1. I haven't read of anyone in IP2 has got an ADR. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A friend told me to pay total fees including RPRF at the beginning itself. I paid all fees when I submitted my application. Because if an applicant hasn't paid RPRF, his application goes out of the main flow to a queue of people who haven't paid RPRF, he gets a request to pay RPRF and once paid it gets processed on first come first serve basis.

Editing a line: I read at another discussion that if an application is picked for security screening by random sampling, it's likely to get delayed for months, but still within timeline. But again, if you don't have anything up your sleeves, you don't need to worry.

hope it helps.
cheers...

This is good to know but kind of depressing news at the same time. What if the RPRF was paid up front along with application fee, the same timeline applies to these applicants too? I paid all fees at once (application fee and RPRF) I am just waiting for the golden email now. Though I've been in IP2 stage since February 16th. I guess the only way to know what is going on with your file is to request GCM or to call them in person.
Did you ever get your PPR?

Hello guys,

My application is at the stage of IP2 since Feb-2018 and additional documents were asked last month which includes employment details including salary slip, appointment letter, tax letter and explanation how i was able to work with two employer at the same time.

I provided the all documents ( salary slip, appointment letter, tax letter) and explained that i was working part time with another employer.

Now its been one month and no communication so far .

what i should expect, really scared ;-(
Hello,
