Job and duties letter mentions Study only

Hi All,

I got employment reference letter from the HR of my company which has all the required details per the CIC requirements. But it mentions that the letter is solely for the purpose of Study. They have denied giving same letter for immigration purpose. Can I still use the letter along with the denial email? And get the same job/ duties confirmed by one of my colleague ?

You can use that.

However, you should not get it for either study or immigration. Just mention no reason. that's enough.

I actually sent the draft letter to HR without mentioning the reason. But my HR added additional lines at the end and clearly mentioned that this letter is issued for the sole purpose of my further studies.
If I submit this document with the denial email from HR mentioning that they can’t issue same letter for immigration, will that be accepted by CIC or this could result into rejection ?
