Nail the Challenge of Getting Reference Letter from Current Employer!!

Hello seniors,

I am in the Post Ita docs submission process ... am an Indian state govt employee ... i somehow managed to get an experience certificate from my employer which envisages my designation and date of joining along with a full time working status (no illustrations regarding work timings) also it names my working trade - Mechanical Engineering (no description regarding my job roles and responsibilities) its almost impossible to get all these in a written format .... everyone knows very well about the government setups ..... And no senior will give me any sort of referal regarding my job roles and responsibilities..... i have salary certificate of this month duly signed by our Account officer

people with such situation managed to get thru the rigorous process of IRcc ,if any then please suggest me the further course of action .

Please guide me am in real need of an earnest advice .... i have only 12 days left for docs submission

HR has denied to me on email as it is against their policy, I have email proof. I have already left the company. Can I get it on plain paper and notarized by ex-colleague who has also left the company?

Yes, dear you have all the proofs infact you have the revert email from your hr.... you can attach the email... trust me it will favour you

As a solution can i?

Point no 2: Print out the content and ask my manager or colleague to sign it and get that notarized, is the best possible solution and attach all other relevant documents of your employment and explain in LOE.

I have overall 8 years of experience from 5 companies. The details are as follows :

NOC 1 : 3.5 years from total 2 companies
NOC 2 : 1.5 years from my own startup
NOC 2 : 3 years from total 2 companies

As you can see, i got more than 3 years of experience for both the NOCs. But my primary NOC in which I want to work is NOC 2.

I have two questions:
a) It is easier to get reference letters for NOC 1 than 2 but i want to work in NOC 2 in canada. So would it be a problem if i keep NOC 2 experience in personal history in EE form and apply jobs for NOC 2?? Do employers check that?

b) I was one of the directors on my startup. So whom shall i get my reference letter from? Myself? or my friend who was other director? or my mother who was the main director and chairman? The startup and the said private limited company are already closed.

Reference letter from supervisor should not have the salary mentioned in it. Salary and pay details are generally confidential and supervisor should not be vouching for the same. You can submit a letter from supervisor without salary details, for pay details, if you have bank statements, you can submit those. If anything else is missing provide any supporting document(s) for the same and explain everything in an LOE.

What is the reference for this information? I thought salary details can be included in the letter to signed by either the personnel officer or your immediate supervisor.

I got employment reference letter from the HR of my company which has all the required details per the CIC requirements. But it mentions that the letter is solely for the purpose of Study. They have denied giving same letter for immigration purpose. Can I still use the letter along with the denial email? And get the same job/ duties confirmed by one of my colleague ?

Have a query regarding Work Experience. I have completed my PGDM in March 2016 (Final exams were held in March). But as I got placed in the campus drive, I was asked to join in Jan 2016 by the employer and the same was accepted by the college. Will it be a concern for the CIC as my course completion is in March, but I started working in Jan. Would be grateful if anyone can give some suggestions on this...

How CIC checks the genuineness of work experience. My current company is reluctant to give any reference letter or anything of that sort. But one of my client(registered company) has agreed to provide me the same with appointment letter, reference letter and payslip... Also I will get it from a higher authority in the company(director level) with his official email ID and all details.. What could be the chance CIC will object on it...
