Hello
A quick question , did you go to the local RCMP station to have both the fingerprints and police check done or did you get the fingerprints done at a RCMP certified location then applied for the RCMP police clearance ?

Thanks in advance
No, my husband went to RCMP certified location (where they did fingerprints) and then they will forward it to RCMP for PCC, who according to them will forward reports directly to CIC. Thanks.

Category........
FAM
Its Police clearance certificate.
Is this required for all applicants? My husband never received anything and we still have the below status:

Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Interview Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

They haven't asked me for anything else yet.

I actually already have my finger prints done for the RCMP unintentionally though, since I got my FBI fingerprints digitally done at a Canadian police station and they accidentally sent them to RCMP when I just needed a print out of them (which didn't even work anyway and I had to get them inked AGAIN....).

So perhaps that's why I haven't been requested for them yet?

Not entirely sure, but that's the best conclusion I can come to for right now. I'll be sure to post an update if it changes.

Did you get the letter online or by mail?

Hello there, I got a update today on my application

Review of medical results We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message below for details.

I did my tests. Does it mean that the doctor didn’t send it? On my background information it says its in progress

Make sure you finished all the panel physician, x-rays, and the lab testing.
If you did not fulfill them, go fulfill the tests first.
If you finished all of them and the CIC says they didn't get your information, try to go ask your panel physician(if (s)he is registered as immigration doctor, (s)he should be in charge of updating your account)
But first, if you passed your medical test deadline, make sure you call CIC and then tell them about your situation.

If anyone wants to know, I’ve done the digital fingerprinting RCPM criminal check at Canadian Fingerprinting Services in Toronto at College and Yonge.

I was the first one to arrive by 8 am and took me less than 15 minutes. They will send the fingerprints to the RCMP electronically, then the police will physically mail the results to my address in about 12 calendar days — the fingerprinting agency said that it is safer than mailing directly to CIC because they have had many issues with clients saying CIC never received anything from the RCMP, especially with Canada Post’s continuing strikes. Finally, I will mail the results to CIC via courier.

After this is done and everything is okay, does anyone know the next steps on the application?
I think you are the first one having something progressed every time.
As my knowledge, the next thing will be your eligibility test and then long waiting....... I heard that eligibility thing is taking the most of time.

Hie, we contacted RCMP through email and thats what they replied:

Please be advised that the verification in question was completed on: 2018-11-19
And the result of our certified criminal record check has been returned to the address indicated on the electronic submission.
As requested the results were mailed to:
ATTN. OFFICER A.I - INLAND SCLPC
CASE PROCESSING CENTRE MISSISSAUGA
300-2 ROBERT SPECK PARKWAY
MISSISSAUGA ON L4Z 1H8

I wonder why still cic haven;t received it yet.
