Medical Request - August 8, 201 ( my medical was done upfront )
Medical Appointments - August 20, 2018
Medical received - August 23, 2018
Medical passed - October 26 (updated)
OWP Approved - November 6,
Background check - November 15. We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Yeah , mine background check also started today and we have same timeline . Also, i got request for PCC and fingerprints .

Just finish mine today at rue sharebrook they say they will send it to me directly and its up to me to send it at the immigration.. the result will be out 3 day from now and then they will mail it to

Guys, Im very stressed, I still didnt received my OWP, Im trying to call Immigration Canada but they are not answering

June 29 2018 - Application sent.(Police certificate from home country and Schedule A submitted upfront)
July 03 2018 - Application delivered to Processing Centre.
August 09 2018 - AOR 1
August 20 2018 Request for CSQ and undertaking application
August 27 2018 CSQ and undertaking application sent
August 28 2018 CSQ and undertaking application received by MIDI
October 24 2018 Medical Request
November 1 2018 RCMP Police Clearance Certificate
November 2 2018 Medical exam done

Did you received your CSQ already? Mine i got my CSQ a monthe after i apply for it and got my OWP by mail last tuesday.. i mailed my app with OWP APP last july 17

Hi Amyroy, i did mine yesterday at the RCMP, and was told the same thing, they said they are not going to mail the results to CIC,but myself is responsible to do that once I receive the mail from Ottawa. The request letter from CIC says otherwise, so it's really confusing, hopefully someone with experience can help and clarify this issue.

I hadn't checked my cic account in a few days and it was updated in two sections:

1. Review of additional documents: Now states "We need additional documents to process your application. We will send you a letter or email with details."
2. Background check: Now States "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

I'm slightly annoyed that additional documents might be required, pushing our timeline down. Likely, we made a mistake somewhere. Fingers crossed it's nothing too burdensome.

Hie, also if you check on submitted application there is option for uploading fingerprints file. But, as you said cic letter says they will send directly. I think cic is giving two options whichever suits us.

Perhaps with your application, but in our case we sent the PCC with our initial application, and we shouldn't have to submit fingerprints. As there was no other information with this change, it could mean many different things. However, if it appears that many individuals have this status change, this would suggest it is a procedural step...
