Oh no ... that's a little sad. But you're not alone. Actually I have seen quite a few cases on forums where people are complaining even notes are delayed. I think you're close to your 6 month timeline anyways. So if notes don't arrive by then just raise a CSE. Someone in July thread told me that they are processing CSE in 1 week these days. It used to be 3 weeks. If that is the case it is a good option if you don't hear anything either on notes or PPR by next week.
Yeah thank you Cansha. Lets see how October ends... Hope all the best for all of us

Yes but I'm not sure how OP knows his visa office. May be he called CIC. But, this is the FIRST case where we have seen BG status change for any Montreal file. Plus his AOR is later than some others from May. This is very unlike other Montreal files.

For folks having prior connection to Canada or inland applicants, they directly move to IP2, so he might be one of them (like me).

Hmm but that doesn't seem to be the case. i know what you are saying is true for inland candidates. But he said he is FSW O and also his status changed very late in process. his AOR is May and status changed in Oct.

Or are you saying it happens if you have lived in Canada before?

oh if his status changed after few months then that is different. I was talking about FSW O also, i am one of them... worked in Canada back in 2010-11 and my status directly changed to IP2 with MEP.

Yeah his AOR is May 17 and his BG status changed on Oct 18. That is a first for Montreal, if his application is indeed in Montreal. May be a case of mistaken thread!

Thanks! It's been a long wait... But still the list for April is quite big or maybe folks didnt bother to reply back if they got PPR.

Well ... not all of them seem to be active on the forum so it is possible that 1-2 may have not informed us. But, we did get a few updates in recent past so my guess is most will come back and update us.

I know smcan may get his PPR once he is done with his ADR. Rijo is active but he has not heard back anything yet. But, I hope most of April folks will hear by end of this Month.

Also, technically 6 month deadline for CIC is from R10 which is about 2 weeks from AOR. So, even for April last week candidates that may mean waiting till first week of November. But, I'm hopeful we will have PPR news for them all soon.

Hey Hi @cansha ...sorry that I am not proactive on forum but i do keep an eye whenever i get time . About my application..I surpassed 6 months mark on 17th Oct , called CIC on the same date and was told to wait till December, also was told that everything is OK with my application.
Good news is ....Was tired of waiting for PR but it didn’t show up yet so decided to visit my family in India and replying back to you from Airport, waiting for my connecting flight .

Got my second set of Gcms notes yesterday. Nothing significant. Everything was same as my first notes .
