Everyone goes through security clearance/check, it's not the same as security screening.
but many say blanked out ACTIVITIES 1-3 in GSMCS notes are security screening, which turned out to be the case according to many folks' experieices. again, I am blessing for miracle.

I'd like to share my timeline.
AOR June 4 CEC inland
MEP June 14, IP 1 same day
IP2 Oct 16 or 17
PPR Oct 17

Thank you very much for all your support!!!
To be honest, I was even more excited when I saw IP2 today...
To all friends who have been stuck at ip1 for a long time ( 4 months in my case), who have been stuck at eligibility recommended pass( at least two months in my case according to my gcms notes; my eligibility was recommended pass since June 25 and no one touched my file at least unyil the beginning of September; my third set of notes is still on its way...), and who have first week of June AOR, your PPR is around the corner!!!
Hope everyone can receive golden email very soon!

@B-star I am in a similar situation and need your help with a query?

You mentioned that Initial Med passed July 13. Did you get the following message starting July 13 "You passed the medical exam."?

Did you guys get the X-Ray for your wife done before July 13 or did you wait for the child birth to get the X-Ray done?

Do you feel that they were waiting for your child birth to continue processing your application?

1.We did all medicals on the 29th of June..Hospital knew she was pregnant and were careful with her.she was about 5 months down the line then i think.

2.Yes...We got the medical passed on July 13

3. Only baby had medical 2 days ago. 2 days after we had her, we informed them of the new born and within hours,we were sent request letter for IMM008, IMM5406, passport page request for baby, medicals for baby, birth certificate, all to be submiited within 30 days. fortunately , we got everything submitted on the 8th day.

They didn't know we were expecting a baby.A case analyst in canada or wherever wouldnt know that so has no bearing on your application so answer is No.I believe a child isnt born yet until he/she is out of the womb and alive. The timeline so far is just like almost everyone with snail speed. So nothing different really from majority.

This could be different for each case..in my case..I told them my wife is pregnant..so they passed all our medical only after the baby medical

Yes..its cos you informed them so they took the decision for all to be done at once.Bear in mind,if you get PPR and copr before child birth, you will return all passports and have it all reissued for the old ones + new born. So they want to save you the stress so all can be done at once.

In my own case, we haven't gotten PPR, so we will be sending all passports at once once we get it.

@pseetha - thanks for the response. I was about to reach out to you. Need your help with similar questions:

1. Did your wife get A. X-ray before child birth or B. Get a deferral letter and do the X-ray after the child birth.

2. Did CIC A. send the ADR proactively or B. You raised a CSE about child birth and they requested ADR

Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't want to spoil the fervor here but the truth is that not everyone from June should expect to get their PPR in October. Even as per statistics at maximum only 50% people get PPR by end of October. Even that looks difficult given the current progress.

We now know at least 19 known cases based in Montreal and they should not be expecting PPR before December.

For anyone who knows they are based in Montreal please order GCMS notes. We have seen atleast two cases where knowing status of your application may be beneficial if your application is in Montreal.

For anyone else, on the risk of being repetitive, I will say again ... if you have not received any updates in your account by next Friday .. you will do yourselves a favor by ordering GCMS notes. If you're sure you won't panic even after 6 months are over ... then OK ... Else order them by this month end.
