You can submit a case specific enquiry and check on this.
Another option is to do kid's medical also (just as they do upfront) - Just my opinion. But I'd prefer contacting IRCC first.

hello i received a medical request but currently i do not have alberta health insurance. will it affect me going to see the immigration doctors and also i know when you go to the lab for blood work they always ask for health insurance number . will this affect me

Hi Maria79,
Follow the letter you received. If they ask for a panel physician visit for a specific person, simply make an appointment with the panel physician. They send the application directly to CIC. My dependent child was asked to undergo the medical examination. We did it. It was not difficult and the results and form are sent the same day to CIC. Our panel physician was great and simply advised us to comply with all requests, which we have been doing and things going smoothly. Hope that helps.

No. It wont.
Immigration Medical checkups and appointments are not Provincial Health covered or dependent. You only need your IDs as prescribed by the IRCC and the doctors/medical centre's requests.

Also be prepared to pay extra for the x ray and blood tests on top of the medical cost.

my spouse and daughter received their medical exam report from clinic But me THE principal applicant did not receive yet!
clinic usually close on weekend cant call them!
in panic now!
help anybody

Hello ! last may 3 my gckey emailed me asking for pcc from Taiwan and an additional documents from my son . So I'm still waiting for my pcc so I can send the requirements before the deadline June 2. How about you?

Hi. I would be so glad if someone can help me on this. I just received a medical request from the cic few hours ago and i was wondering why my daughter was not included in the request. She is included in my application and accompanying with me in canada. I have read in the cic that the dependent child whether accompanying or not should undergo a medci exam. Got a bit worried on this. Does anybody here have the same dilemma as mine? Your answer is highly appreciated. Thanks.
