You are already 2 months into the processing on your application, I would carry on with your current application.
These guys are trying a second profile to try and get an ITA.
Thanks. Is there any law which prevents in submitting two application? I am little worried about foreign exp since company1 didn't provide me responsibility document. Their exact words were "due to internal guideline from our Legal, HR and Immigration team, we cannot provide responsibilities in letter. Alternately, you can provide a self-declaration for your responsibilities, and attach your Manager's business card, if he can verify the same, if contacted by the immigration authorities". My manager left the company few years ago so I couldn't contact him. I provided self-declaration, salary slip, relieving letter and H1B. May be this company dont want to provide responsibility on letter since I was working on H1B and if responsibility does not match exact H1B requirement they may face issues. So may be they are not providing this details to any one. But if this is not recognized then 4 years of foreign exp would be lost.
In company 2, I worked as IT Manager (NOC 0213), they provided all the details and my exp is 4 years in this company. So I will still meet the minimum criteria of 3 years foreign exp. But my concern is NOC. Currently I am working in Canada under NOC 2174 hence applied under 2174. But this NOC doesnt match the NOC of company 2. Also this company is in India, not sure how they will verify.
If my wife applies, then its relatively safe since she worked in only one company for 5 years and they gave roles & resp letter, work exp letter and skill certificate while leaving. Also there is a chance that we may get ITA without foreign exp. I lost 35 points for Age. As a dependent, there would be no issue with Age or foreign work exp.
Hence, please let me know if there is any CIC rule which prevents applying again with my wife as principal applicant.
