New to Canada. Do you guys recommend buying right now in GTA area or wait for few more months/years?
Just putting a open question to see what are your recommendations here.

TIA

What's the purpose? To make additional income or self-occupancy?

Tough to say. Would also depend on where you want to buy. May want to start with what kind of mortgage conditions you can get. Unless you are paying all cash that may have a huge influence on the city. Moving is not cheap so would try out the city for 6 months before making such a huge purchase if you are not familiar with the city.

Thinking of both. But not sure which one to opt for. What do you say?
If both, buy, move-in and if things not work out, then rent out. Ideally, before buying, would be best if you can find a similar property to rent and live there for a few months - which will give you experience what it is to live in that neighborhood or complex.

It will not be easy for me to try and rent out option as I have a 3 year old. Need to move somewhere before her school starts. She also little delayed on her speech side, so we are really not in a position to try different areas for her.

We are currently renting and would need to move somewhere before her school starts. Ideally, with the idea to stay there for a while.

Yup...that's why we are currently renting to understand areas around. Will need to move somewhere when my daughter is up for school next year.

Kindergarten starts at 4. You still have time.
