Hi Yousef, i also added my wife around the same time and it shows same status as yours. Even though i dint order GCMS, i can understand from your GCMS notes that my application too is lying with the same IRCC group. I am guessing that all similar applications worldwide must be in this queue. So, if this a global queue then we might be badly stuck ! Can you pls tell me from your GCMS notes if this IRCC group is linked to a visa office (VO) or not ?
See the 2 links for the screenshot of the GCMS notes.

Thanks Yousef ! As you said in previous post, the IRCC group is located in Ottawa. I am guessing our applications are not yet transferred to local visa office queue. It is still stuck in that global queue in Ottawa. Any idea what is "Type- PR- Temporary Processing" means as mentioned in GCMS notes ?
Well I believe that they wouldn't be transferred to the local office any way. What that means is that Ottawa will approve the application and trigger the PPR email and once we receive the PPR email we just have to submit it to the local VO. Although I'm an Indian residing in India my file hadn't been transferred to NDVO during any part of my application.

Type- PR- Temporary Processing" = That's just the attribute of the group.. e.g. It could be anything like PNP, EP, Workers Student etc..
What seems obvious is that it's a temporary group (batch) created to process the applications which have added spouse after lock in . Also the group is numbered '02' , so there might be another group of such applicants in the 01 group .. Further, once this group clears your file (eligibility) , a final review will take place before the PPR email.
Based on the answers of other members, once you get the status as ADNR, the file would then be moved to the other group where it would be getting a final review and issuance of PPR (8 - 10 days after ADNR).

I have applied for my husband's PR after I received my CopR and got married. It's been a week that we submitted all the documents asked for via webform but have not received any update since then . Does anybody have any idea when can we expect an update? and will it be updated in my CIC account?

Thanks Yousef! I also sent mail directly to Ottawa office and not to NDVO to avoid delays in NDVO queue. Please post in this forum once you get your ADNR or PPR.

It can take around 6 to 16 weeks... i.e 1 and half months to 4 months .

Hi Gowtham, i submitted my wife documents in last week of July 2018 and on 1st Aug 2018, it says medicals passed. But after that, it is still under review. Can you pls tell me how quickly u got the 2nd PPR mail after passing medicals? I am wondering whether my application is stuck in local visa office (VO) queue or some other global queue ! Thanks.
I submitted spouse docs in November 1st week. We received PPR on Dec 18th.

What were your CRS points before and after marriage?
CRS points are not recalculated after getting married or addition of spouse provided that your application has reached the 'Lock-in' stage.i.e. Either you have received your PPR or you have your eligibility cleared as a single applicant.

is there anyone on this thread with an inland pr application (by inland, I mean that you started your application while you were in Canda but then you got married after receiving AOR and added your spouse to the existing application)?

Good day, I back read the entire thread.. Some of them dated 2 years ago. As we all know canadian immigration rules is volatile.

I’m having a dilemma,

I received my PPR email today, i live in Abu Dhabi. Im on QSWP program. After 6 years my application is near to finish line. :)

I have pre planned wedding on December 23, 2018.

My flight going home to my home country (Philippines) will be next week November 23, 2018. I don’t have option to submit to visa office in Abu Dhabi due to time constraint , my option is on Philippines upon arriving next week. Is this possible? I have a friend on Saudi Arabia, he finished all the application there, then got his passport stamped on Philippines 6 months ago.

What are my best options right now with the current trends on visa processing.

  1. Get married on December 23, then inform them on my change of status.

  1. Or fly on 2nd week of December (assuming my passport is stamped)to Canada then comeback again to Philippines sort of like airport to airport approach if you know what i mean. Is this feasible. Then apply my wife under class spousal sponsorship later when i returned back to canada. Which is more efficient on waiting time among the options.
