I have got my PR visa on my passport and looking to land in Ottawa as it's mentioned in my CPR. Questions:

1-Can I buy a ticket to Ottawa through Montreal? If yes, will the immigration office in Montreal stamp my visa and go through the procedure or the office in Ottawa will do so?

2-Will the immigration office in Ottawa ask for an address to enable them to mail my PR card? Or I have to go to the immigration office in the town to take a picture there and give my address?

2-The code FCI is written on my CPR, what does it mean?

Thank you and Best Regards.

1)immigration always takes place at the first point of entry into Canada so if you transit via Montreal you will have your COPR and landing formalities including customs completed there. After customs you drop your bag at a connections desk for the domestic flight to Ottawa , nothing else to do with completing your PR landing when arriving at Ottawa.

You should expect CBSA to ask you to confirm you have onward travel Ottawa and should allow at least 3 hours between flights to complete a landing although no way to predict just depends how busy immigration is

2)CBSA in Montreal assuming that is your first entry point will ask you for a Canadian address for your PR card. If they do not you will need to apply for a card online separately. Montreal to Ottawa is a domestic flight so no immigration contact.

No idea if there is a Service Canada desk at Montreal airport to apply for a SIN if you have time between connections, if not then easy enough find one in Ottawa.

3) no idea on codes on a COPR. Maybe code is shown here
