Using Alberta Health card as ID

Hi,

I have applied citizenship with my family in August. Both my wife and my daughter only have passport that has a picture on it and since they are asking for 2 ID, I have included their Alberta health card even if it doesn’t have picture.Since I drive, I included my drivers license copy so I have 2 ID with picture.

Anyone who have sent their application using Alberta Health card as well as ID? Did it cause an issue with the application?

I used my passport from my country of origin, PR card and health card as I dont have a driver's license in Alberta so you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply Novia2018. I thought PR card is not considered ID for citizenship application so I did not include it.

Did they asked for any more ID from you?

No they actually just looked at the PR card and the passport. She didnt even look at the healthcare.

PR Card can be used as ID as its Govt issued.
You gonna send a copy of it with the application anyways.
