Can someone please tell me if I can apply for SINP under the student sub category under "Food Service Supervisor" (NOC 6212) (B level job)?

I called SINP and the guy said that Hospitality sub category is not valid for students. I am unable yo trust him because the website does not state anything as such. Please advise me here.

I am on my PGWP and am really confused about my job not relating to my field of a 1 year certificate course in IT. Is it okay to file SINP for a B level job if it does not relate to your field of study? Can I apply under Hospitality category as a Food and beverage server?

I already have an SINP job approval letter. Thanks so much and God bless you!

Please anyone? I really need help, please!

"Students may apply to any of the other SINP categories, if they meet their criteria."

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-with-saskatchewan-experience/students

The above is why I feel that the SINP office might not be telling the truth.

Also, when I go to the Hospitality sub category page:

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-with-saskatchewan-experience/hospitality-sector-project

"The following can't apply through this sub-category:

Refugee claimants in Canada who are claiming refugee status from the Government of Canada"

And that's it. There's no mention that PGWP holders cannot apply to it unlike the page for Existing Work permit sub category says:

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-with-saskatchewan-experience/applicants-with-existing-work-permit

"The following can't apply through this sub-category:

Refugee claimants in Canada who are claiming refugee status from the Government of Canada
Health professionals (you must apply to the SINP Health Professional sub-category)
Food and Beverage Servers/Persons (you must apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category)
Graduates working on a Post-Graduate Work Permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) (you must apply to the Saskatchewan Experience - Student sub-category or the International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer sub-category)"

I think the hospitality category is for people who are working under LMIA. If SINP is telling you that you cannot apply under that category then you can't.

That really sucks. I have an MA in Theatre and cannot find a job. Was hoping to go to Sask to get a job as a server for six months.
