Intercompany transfer to Canada

Hi Guys,

I'd like to know about the steps I would require for gaining a work permit.

I work for an International Company in Australia & found a Shared Services placement in a same company's office in Canada.

It just that all visa work has to be done by me & all required documents that I require for the Visa will be provided by the company.

I have got the Job letter & the contract ( of course commencement upon arrival & conditional to visa approval).

What I need to do? All i want to resume my job asap & I can carry on with the express entry formalities once I am there...

Can someone please assist me in this matter?

Would be great if I can be explained in detail.

For the ICT to be approved, your job must be executive/managerial - or the company must demonstrate that you have specialized knowledge. The letter / documentation you obtain from them must address this.

I assume you're aware that you will not be able to claim job offer points under Express Entry until you have worked in Canada on the ICT for a full year.

Thank you for highlighting this point. I am not on managerial post btw.

In that case, how can & which visa should I obtain?

BTW, the company is in Manitoba...

If you don't meet the the ICT requirements, then your company needs to apply for an LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.
