It is likely a fingerprint request. I had the same notice on ECAS.

It is FP. you have 30 days time to give finger prints from date of the letter.

Can I ask how much time it took for IRCC to respond after you sent your fingerprints? For my mom's citizenship application, its going to be almost 3 months since we sent her fingerprints and have not yet heard back.

We called IRCC about our file. They said the background check and fingerprint request was received and waiting to assign a test invite. Mind you we called them last month about it and the fingerprint request was made in January (5 months prior to the call). We don't know when they actually received the FP from us (we didn't ask). As long as they got the info they needed, we didn't care when they gotten FP from us.

They most likely already have the fingerprint request info on your mother. They are probably trying to make the time for a test invite.

Guys, I have received test invite yesterday but my ecas still does not show the forth line about this appointment! How long does it take to see the new line in my ecas and does it matter?

She will still be invited for the interview first and then after DM, be invited for oath. If you had the RCMP send it to IRCC, you can pretty much rest assured that they have the FP. There won't be a notification of receipt in ECAS.
