I just called CIC to check the status of my application.

CIC agent confirmed that they are processing now Inland application received till May 10th .

Mine application was received on 29th May 2018 .

So agent told me to wait till end of the July for the AOR1.

Hello guys, I got my application returned. Saying that I need to translate some of my doccuments, which website do you guys recomend to translate it? Another question, they said that I didn`t send my birth certificated and I did, so I am not understanding it. The application just included me and my spouse, and they still highlighted about my additional family information form. Do my parents need to fill that too even if they are not going to be a part of the application? Do I need to send their birth certificate?

Do you perhaps have a child together who is a Canadian citizen? Sometimes they also just miss an item even if you sent it so double check with an agent. Family birth certificates aren’t needed as far as I know - just your immediate- you and your spouse and any children.

Hi All,
I originally sent my Inland spousal application and OWP on April 24th but it was returned on May 29th for signature missing in background form. The application was resent and received on May 30th. Now waiting for AOR and hopefully it doesn't get returned again.

All the Best for everyone here. We just have to stay positive and hope the best thing happens. Cheers.. !!!!

My application status is same as yours.

Background application form mentions you can enter you name instead of signature .But CIC sent complete application back mentioning to sign only.

What is your timeline of application ?When was it received in CPC-M office.

Hi Everyone
I am new to this page and I am still working on the application. My husband is sponsoring me.
Can anyone please help me in arranging documents?
I have few questions:

1. The guide says place all barcode pages underneath the checklist. So do we need to submit the barcode pages twice? one underneath the checklist and other with the form, or just once?
2. For the proof of the trips we did together do we need to submit all the flights, boarding passes, hotels etc.? I found some bookings but not all.
3. I created collage of photographs and printed them on 8x10 size. on the back on each photo i write the details with pen. Is that ok?
4. How to arrange all documents? how many packages and sub packages do we need to make while sending the application.?

I'm sorry to hear they are returning your application! Did they give you a reason? What info did you give them for them to be able to tell you that?

Thank you. They didn't say the reason as it doesn't show in their system but I just asked about the status of my application and they looked into my file.

Sorry to hear that. Mine was returned as well and the good thing is that you actually were told it is being returned (perhaps translations were missing, or signatures missing)- whereas mine was not even checked or looked into and I waited and found the returned application in my mail. Lost 6 weeks unfortunately.
Hopefully it’s just a simple fix and you can resubmit it then as soon as possible.

Anybody with a timeline of 24th my that has recieved AOR. Also if they return your application, what status will it show on ECAS and vice versa.

Sorry to hear about your appl being returned. Can you please let me know what number and options you used to contact them . When I tried calling, it’s always going to automated voice and asking for appl number which I don’t have.

Hopefully it should be a quick fix and you should be able to restart the process at the earliest.

I used 18882422100 and for the options if I can recall you dial 2 for Sponsor a family member, then choose the option Sponsor your spouse and then dial 0 to speak with an agent.

It is really frustrating I went through the app twice before sending it and still there is something missing...One question for those who resent the app, do you have to send the updated forms? some of the forms have changed since May...
