Correct address for sending Passport from US

Thank you for your email. For cross border shipments, it is strongly suggested that you purchase and send us a FedEx online shipping label with the preferred shipping speed (you have several options).



To purchase a FedEx online shipping label please follow the instructions below. If you need help call FedEx at 1-800-463-3339.

2. Fill in the ship “From” address section with the CPC-Ottawa mailing address as below;



· First Name: CPC-Ottawa | PR-TR PRINTING

· Company: Leave blank

· Postal Code: K1A 1L1

6. Select the fastest delivery service offered in your region





7. For pick-up, select Item #3 – Use an already scheduled pickup at my location

DO NOT SELECT “Schedule a pickup”

8. Review all mailing details and pay online;

You can use a credit card or an already existing FedEx account. Remember that the address for the credit card or FedEx account has to match what is already on file. If you fail 3 times, it will lock out the payment number you’re trying to use.

9. VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION;

· When you receive the e-mail confirmation from FedEx, open the shipping label and save the label as an electronic version (PDF file) on the desktop of your computer.

· Print all the pages of the pdf file, including commercial invoices, on plain white paper, single sided,

· Include in your parcel ALL the pages that printed with your documents:

You don’t need to include an empty FedEx envelope.

Hi all,
While creating return label, I am not able to complete payment. The credit card information is rejected. There was a mention that the address in the 'From' field should match the address of the credit card. But when we create the return label, From address is CPC's Canada address. How could this match my US credit card address? I request somebody to help me with clarity. Thanks in advance!

I do not have a credit card with USA address yet. What is the workaround to pay?

Thanks for detailed description. What did you write to them for which they responded with above information? I am in a situation where they gave me a PO box address and I am unable to ship it to PO box via FedEx/UPS. USPS denied giving me a self addressed prepaid envelope. So I am clueless. I want to write similar email as you might have written in order to get a same/similar reply from them. Please help. Thanks in advance!

I ended up sending mine to 365 Laurier ave although my PPR email mentioned PO address. It got delivered today and signed by J.JEANETTE. the proof of delivery says :

Delivered to: Mailroom
Delivery location: 365 LAURIER AVE W

I have received PPR email today. I am CEC inland applicant. They asked me to send passport through Canada Post express service. My question is that can I use fedex or UPS because there is some conflict going on between IRCC and Canada Post.

I did not include it. Instructions below also says there is no need to include empty envelope.

CPCO – PR VISA
US Permanent /Temporary Residence VISA/Passports
365 Laurier Av. West
Ottawa ON
K1A 1L1

So I sent my passport and other requested docs thru FedEx and it reached to the destination after a week. When I tracked the mail it said there was an address change and FedEx actually rerouted the package to the correct address. Seems like Fedex went to deliver the mail to the above address and then Fedex was instructed to deliver at other Canadian immigration address. Is that normal?? or did something went wrong? Please help

The tracking status said it was signed by JFARLEY as proof of delivery.

However I called FedEx and they said to send to a P.O BOX, I need to include a recipient's phone no. What no am I supposed to input?

Did you have an issue where the "US Permanent /Temporary Residence VISA/Passports" was getting cut off in the fedex form fields due to character limits? If so, how did you get around it?
