Hi Guys,

WES report: M.Sc (2Years) is evaluated as Postgraduate Diploma (1Year)

While updating EE profile there are two drop downs
1. Level of education
2. Level of education (Canadian equivalent) shown on Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report

Question:
1. Should both of the above fields carry same value?
2. Should I enter "One Year Program at a college, university or trade or other institutes" or "One Year Program at a college, university or trade or other institutes"?

Please suggest!!

Hi,
Didnt u hv your Bachelors Degree assessed?
Then u could claim for two or more degrees.
Answer to your Question -
In Level of Educatio you will write Masters (i.e. What you actually did). And
In ECA assessemnt you will enter "one year program...."
Seriously suggest you to get your UG degree also added to your ECA assessment, unless u have a very high CRS anyways.

Hello,

I am confused and need help in filling up the Express Entry profile's Education history.

My Education:
3 years Bachelors degree in Science (Computer Science)
2 years Masters degree in Science (Computer Science)

ECA Report:
CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Bachelor's degree (four years) and postgraduate diploma (one year)

Question: What should be the level of education ( Canadian Equivalent) for Masters degree in the profile's Education history?

The ECA report says postgraduate diploma (one year), there is no such option in the drop down for the level of education.
Should I enter Master's degree or professional degree needed to practice ( and say one year in full /completed academic years) OR one year program at a university or college?
Please advise!

Spouse's Education is 3 years BCOM and then 2 year MA master degree i.e. MCOM
As per WES report - the MCOM (2Years) degree is evaluated as Postgraduate Diploma (1Year)

While filling up the EE profile - For the MCOM degree as per the ECA: Should I enter "One Year Program at a college, university or trade or other institutes" ?

Enter the Bachelors degree as "bachelors .." (option while entering the ECA details) as the first qualification , and then for masters select " One Year Program at a college, university or trade or other institutes" as ECA option. These combination of options will give points for "two or more...".

Hi guys
I have four years of Bachelors degree and 1.5 years of Masters degree.

I got my WES evaluation done and the report says,
For Bachelors degree, Canadian equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)
For Masters degree, Canadian equivalency: Master's degree

However, it does not mention any number of years of my Master's degree. Since we need to fill up the complete/ full academic years while filling up the EE profile, what am I supposed to write?

Please help

Hi,
My ECA report says-

1. Bachelor of Commerce- Candian Equivalency: Two years Diploma (IQAS)
2. ACCA- Candian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree three years (WES)

Can I choose "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees." as my education level and claim points accordingly?

Thanks for helping me out.

Is it possible to use two different evaluating agencies, in your case, IQAS and WES?

My ECA report says-

1. Bachelor of Commerce- Candian Equivalency: Two years Diploma (IQAS)
2. ACCA- Candian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree three years (WES)

Can I choose "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees." as my education level and claim points accordingly?

Thanks for helping me out.

Hi,
i had my ACCA and BSc degree assessed from WES and got the equivalency for two bachelors. However when getting them assessed, i chose the country of UK as the country of study because i could not get the degrees assessed from pakistan as they were foreign degrees.

Now in my EE profile if i am choosing UK as the country of education, they are asking for a police certificate from UK. However i have never been to UK so i can not get a police certificate and if i choose Pakistan as the country of study, wouldn't that clash with my WES ECA report?

Could someone please help.

Thanks in advance
