i just dont see how majoiry of people are getting within 20 to 70 days at latest.
That is the common time frame. Yes I know it says 6 months but they just state it so that no body can call them out if their application has not been updated after 3 or 4 months.

I for one have never come across an applicant who got their PR in exactly 6 months or 178 days or or 169 days . The common number is 50 to 80 days and if you didnt get PR by then then obviously something is wrong. They may be rejecting our files or putting it under security screening.

Lets face it, these are not complicated files and files that need to be approved, they get approved within 2 to 3 months at latest and files that are not getting approved, they are the ones delayed for god knows what reason.

Majority of Feb and March applicants have already gotten their PRs, those like me who are still stuck are just waiting to get rejected.

Face it, its either 2 to 3 months of processing or beyond 6 months i.e more than 1 year or so
Pls stop freaking out others based on your own theories. Keep your fears with you. Majority of March ppl haven't got. Even the tracker majority haven't got. Unlike the January group where you can say majority have got based on the myimm tracker. March and end on February ppl are slowly getting their PPR requests. People applying from within Canada are facing most delays for reasons best knows to CIC..people applying from other countries their files are moving comparotivelc faster. So pls stop freaking others out. I hope you get your PR very soon. Just be positive. And be patient. Most people are not getting in the 20 - 70 days timeline. Goodluck to you.

I know this is March Aor , just after seeing a few discussions I want to post this ,my aor is Feb 6th, no update since March 1st week medicals passed and background in progress on Feb 15th,I call cic every month they keep saying samething.its my 121 the day without PPR and I have couple of friends who got PPR in a month and other s in 2.5 months and 4+ months.its frustrating but I can't do anything , just orderef gcms on 14th May . So don't scare others or argue brothers. finally from what I have seen if there are any rejections it would usually happen in 30days after your AOR or try will request for additional documents

Hi,
I have submitted my application on March 5, under CEC. Since I was going to India for 3 months, I gave my Indian address on the application.
Will my application be processed in Canada ? Or it will be proceed in India as I gave Indian addresses?.
Now I am going back to Canada.
Please help me to change the address as I am not able to call cic from India.

Thank you,
Arkesh

Why not call IRCC, we would have 0 idea because even a guy lives in SG. His file was approved by Ottawa. It is not up to us to speculate because it’s up to the officer that reviews ur application.

Hi guys,

I had my invitation March 28th inland
AOR on April 12th
MEP May 28th
And today June 7th I received an update that the PR interview has been scheduled on June 13th to finalize my application.

Does anyone know if it is a common practice for IRCC to conduct a PR interview? Or did anyone have PR interview before? If you did, please share some experience and tips for the interview.

Wish all the best for you all!
