I don't think we are supposed to depend on the memory of the agent he probably see 100s every year and of course not remembering much about most of them. I believe a computer software would store all files and applications and would select applicants for oath when they meet certain criteria.. Now what is this criteria is the million dollar question haha
I'm a silent follower, My Scarborough application was received Aug 14, Test/Interview was done Feb 12 and DM on Feb 15 . I haven't left country for freaking a single day for past 4.5 years yet I'm still waiting for oath letter. To me there's no method to their buffoonery, if feels like they play crap shoot with applications.
Yet on the damn IRCC website they claim they go based on when application was received, BIG fat lie full of horse manure . It's absolutely berserk to process application that were sent after August while August applicants are still waiting. I wish I could've sued them for lying about their process. I wasn't asked for RQ or anything else nothing nada zero zilch.

Did you called them? All though it makes no difference last month when I called they said they are waiting for slot for Oath and when I called last week they said my application is in process while everyone else around me is getting Oath Invite. In my Atip report it’s said Ceremony ready and final granted that’s was in February.

I haven't called them recently and that's because I'm a firm believer that those call center people just parrot whatever you see online on ECAS hence they're kinda waste of time specially for people whom can access it online. And that's what makes this whole process rather super annoying because you can't really know what the heck they're doing with your application. I understand that if your application is not straight forward then there might be some hoops to jump over but for people that their application is crystal clear there shouldn't be such looooong wait time specially seeing people who applied AFTER you have got their invites. If this was a private company I would have sued to the gates of hell for negligence :)
It seems we remaining August applicants are stuck purgatory.

I agree it's a big fat lie,, I really dont know what to say if they wanna delay some people at least tell them the reason and what to expect or when to expect that oath but just leaving people hanging there waiting blindly until god knows is killing!

I used to be so happy when people post their Oath Invite because I believe my turn will be next but when I see all those October applicants getting Oath Invite I just feel left behind. I notice two June applicants got Oath Invite today so I guess we will probably get invite in July.

Dont worry we will see November applicants soon too:eek::D I just hope the file is not pending any BG check or things like that because this does not have any specific time to finish and may take from few months to couple years!

The fact that you didn't leave the country for a single day is irrelevant for the oath invite. It plays a role to approve your file which is done that's why you get DM. After that it's just a matter of being in a queue waiting for your turn.

Not sure how long does it before it expires hopefully not before 2 years.. even if it expires honestly it's their problem because their delay caused it to expire!!
I have no idea what’s going on in their cubicle or if they playing wheel of fortune with the Oath Invite.

No!! wrong it has everything to do with it, don't fool yourself. Why would an applicant that hasn't left country takes longer than someone who has left many times? for petes sake, the fact that my application needs only an in country BG rather than international should put my application ahead of tons of people. Just accept the fact that cases are based on pure luck nothing else, everything else is pure BS.

No, it has nothing to do with OATH INVITE. Once you get DM your app is complete nothing to do with how many times you left the country. I am not defending IRCC, their timeline is very random.

I called IRCC today and was told my application been transferred to Mississauga office and they will be scheduling my Oath Invite.I also called last week and the lazy agent I talked to all she said is my application is in process. I don’t understand they get paid to do a job and they behave like they doing us a favour answering our questions if they don’t want their job they should just quit and let’s someone who really needs a job and enjoy answering the phone have the job.shout out to the agent I talked to great job.
