In my case, i did not give fingerprints for this purpose since it is already available in their database. It took 2 days for me tbh. Dont worry you will get it sooner. Probably follow up with them..

You mean you have only asked for the PCC? How old where your finger prints?
I got mine taken for another purpose in july 2017. Do you think i can just ask for a PCC based on the finger prints they already have in their database?

Hey guys,
Finally got my medicals done at the Mouwassat hospital. However, it was a very bad experience. As soon as I walked in the receptionist's office, she said the CIC system is down, and that it might take the whole day. Thank God, after a few minutes, the system was back again.
Then the receptionist started typing my data into the online form. And when she gave me the print out to check, there was an error in the issue date of my passport. She said she managed to correct it on the system, but it still shows the wrong date when she prints it out. And then she said there is nothing she can do about it. She said It should be ok, as long as the date is correct on the system "so she claims"
So as a result, the information sheet that she emailed me later on, and which i am supposed to upload in my online PR application has the wrong passport issue date.
Im also really worried that the issue date on the system is also wrong.
My application might get rejected because of this :(

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Hey!

I had a similar problem with the incorrect passport number. The admin also told me that the system has the correct inform yet the printout is wrong.

I mentioned it in my letter of explanation later on when I applied and everything was fine.

Don’t worry they are very tolerant if you explain the situation properly and honestly :)

And no, you won’t be rejected for this ... not a chance :)

Good luck!

Thank you so much! You really made my day :)
I will make sure I attach a LOE to clarify this.
One more thing I wanted to double check. Since I started this immigration process, in all the online forms I have filled up (in my EE profile, in my Ontario PN application) I have set " passport country of issue" to "Kuwait". I thought it was the right answer as my passport was issued by my home country's embassy in Kuwait, as I am a resident in Kuwait.
However, the hospital receptionist has set my "passport country of issue" in the medical form as "my original home country (XXX)".
I checked my passport. It doesnt have a line item called "country of issue" or "place of issue". It just says "Authority" and it has " Kuwait " written next to it.
Im confused now. I believe the CIC agent will notice the discrepancy. Should I:
1- change the "passport country of issue" in the EE application to "my home country". But there will be still a discrepancy with my records in Ontario because I already got the Ontarion Provincial Nomination letter, and based on the extra 600 points I got the ITA.
2- Should I get Mouwassat hospital to change it to "Kuwait". Although I doubt they will do it because the admin seemed pretty sure it should be my home country not Kuwait.
3- Should keep things as they are, and attach a letter of explanation to my EE online application and clarify this.

Please advise.

Thank you in advance

Country of issue according to them is “ your country of origin” . Even my passport was issued in Kiwait, but in the form my country of origin was mentioned. So you dont have to worry

I would keep things as they are and explain the situation in the LEO. I faced the same situation because I got my passport from my country’s embassy in Kuwait. The right thing is to mention your country as the issuing place as even the embassy is a representative of the country ... nonetheless, LOE it is :)

Thanks a lot!
I guess I have to change that in my EE online application, because it is currently set to "Kuwait".
