Yay! I hope you are right.
Eligibility is "recommend passed", which is a huge relief.
Eligibility status is very important. All the best to you.

Got my notes today!

My husband passed his medicals on March 5th (I added him on the 3rd, but it was Saturday).
The only thing missing right now is his criminality, but maybe that update that I saw on Monday means that he has passed criminality too!
Oh, and our security is set to "not started".
Good luck.. :)
now PPR mail is next.

Hello Seniors,

Need your kind advice please. I have been asked by CIC to undergo a medical exam within 30 days. The form they provided is IMM 1017 E to be filled.

My confusion is that there is no section on MyCIC where I can upload the confirmation slip this time (earlier they provided options for uploading). Is it normal? Am I supposed to send the slip by email or CSE or just expect the Physician to send it timely and accurately to them?

Also, since I added my wife in the existing application, they must need medical report of my wife as well. While submitting other docs, we underwent upfront emedical for her and submitted the same. In the emedical request received this time, the IMM 1017 E form just indicates my name and details in the rows. Does that mean that my wife's emedical is taken care of/no longer required to undergo again?

Please help.

Regards

Hey , you don’t need to upload anything... just have the medical test, the panel will upload itself. Do check them in 2-3 days about the upload of your report to CIC.
Once uploaded you will see “ Medical passed”

Same case with me .. don’t worry

Hi, guys! The wait is finally over. We received PPR last night, just 7 weeks after adding my spouse to the application. Unlike many here, I hadn't received PPR before adding him, so I thought it was fast.
Congrats!

If your VO is Ottawa, it will be faster :D
Mine was SGVO, added spouse 13 weeks after AOR, got the PPR in 11 weeks, total processing time was 24 weeks (yes, exactly 6 months:rolleyes:)

Thank you, iamxty!
Yeah, I got lucky with Ottawa, because SPVO (in Brazil) is super slow! There are many Brazilians with AORs older than mine who are still waiting...

Hi,

Thanks for your assurance, it's a big relief. I went for my medicals yesterday, but unfortunately the BP came a little high i.e. 152/80 and the urine result also showed a surplus points of 2+ :(. I was on fast yesterday plus didn't drink a lot of water apparently. Not sure if the medical officer will ignore the high readings or not. Fingers crossed . Did anybody else here face a similar situation? Would appreciate if you can share
