Hi anybody can please help

My sister applied for post graduation work permit in august 2017 with 2 year program and she got approval after 7 months for just one year and we sent webform inquiry about it and they replied that we have forwarded your inquiry to respected visa office and after a month we didnt hear anything. We have no idea what to do and if somebody can suggest a good solution please.

Its usually at the discretion of the visa officer but I think that a 2 year program should get her a 2 or 3 years work permit. She should check her passport expiry date. They wont issue past the expiration date. My friends that did 2 year programs with less than 2 years passport validity got till the expiration of their passport but were able to reapply when they renewed their passports and got the remaining 1 year plus.

Sounds like her passport was expiring soon, unless the CIC has mentioned some other reason
