I received mine after 10 days after my medical passed.

Thanks! Sorry for all the questions, just so rare to find someone in the same situation that has been successful. We are currently on 12 or so days since medicals in IP2 so we are anxiously waiting to see if we have done enough

Hello sis,

I have gone through almost all your posts as par intent to reside outside Quebec and saw your concerns and success. I am submitting my application today but before that, I will appreciate if you could chip in your advice to me.

What did you end up showing as proof to reside outside Quebec?
Did you submit the letter of intent along with your application?
Did you finally get a letter from VO to prove your intent to reside outside Quebec?
Replied to your PM

Is there anybody here who is a student in QC and was successful in convincing the visa officer of their intent to move after completion of degree?
I am in the same boat. I was a student; got the job in Montreal, and applied EE. Now, I don't have any idea to convince CIC about my intention to move out of Quebec.

Hi,
I am going to be very blunt here, it does not sound like you have any intention to move outside of Quebec. In order to convince the officer you will need concrete evidence that you are planning on leaving Quebec, such as a job in another province, a lease in another province, evidence of strong ties to another province or evidence that you are leaving your job. If you are planning on living/working in Montreal you MUST apply through the Quebec immigration route - the CIC is very strict on this matter.

Thank you for your prompt and straightforward reply, I appreciate that. You are definitely right that I should apply through CSQ. However, I have got few months of PGWP left and as you all know, nowadays CSQ takes 1.5 years to arrive. And then again Express entry- 1 more year. I don't have that much time. I have close relatives and many friends in Ontario and I obtained driving license from Ontario only. I already got ITA and few steps away from closing the deal. I have few points to prove that I will move out of Quebec but I'm not sure that they should be sufficient enough or not.
That's why I need help!

It sounds like you have some evidence. If your contract is coming to an end that will help. The best advice I can give you is to be straightforward and honest about your intentions and to explain things very clearly to the immigration officer. It is difficult to say whether what you have is enough as every case is different and everyone has different experiences with it. But having close family outside of Quebec will help your case a lot. The biggest hurdle is going to be proving that you will leave your job, as that is a very very strong tie to Quebec, and to the immigration officers eyes, a very good reason for you too stay in Quebec. Good luck though, I really hope it works out for you!

You can upload the letter of intent under the "Optional Documents" column. I did that mine in this section and never got any further request.

Hi Friends ,

I really need help what to reply . I was in Canada from 2011 to 2015 in Montreal Quebec. After that I moved internally in same company for new assignment in Chicago , USA on Nov 2015. I am here for almost 2.5 years and applied for PR from Ontario .

I don't have any specific proof to show my intent except general letter of explanation . I have no intention to go to Quebece back as it was difficult fot me to settle their due to language barrier hence in first place i moved to USA.

Please help what should be best for me to reply to CIC .
