Common Law Sponsor Has To Be Inside or Outside Canada?

Hi,I want to know if a sponsor wants to sponsor his commpn law partner he\she has to stay in Canada during the process or he\she can live with him\her in another country during the process?

If the sponsor is a Canadian citizen, they can live outside of Canada while sponsoring. If the sponsor is a PR, they must be living in Canada to sponsor.

Yes you can apply for Outland sponsorship whilst in Canada.
