Hi everyone,

I dont know if ive asked this before, but will they go back and look and my income after being approved as a sponsor? I have gotten a steady job in November and sent out our app in Dec. ( I graduated in April 2017, married in June 2017 and came back to Canada in the end of August) I have listed all of it. Please advise, my lawyer is being negative.

I don't really understand what you're asking. Once you get SA they start processing the residency, there should not be any reason to look into the sponsor again. What exactly are you worried about/what is your lawyer telling you

Hi,

sorry about the lack of info. So my lawyer contacted me and informed me that my file will get declined if I don't show more income in my tax return of 2017. The thing is, I've only been working full time for 3 months in 2017, but she kept implying that I need to add more income to support our application. I told my lawyer that our file has been approved and been sent off to my husband's VO which is in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Anyways, She went ahead and told me that they will look back and that only the Damn Canadian office approved and that I still need to wait for COLOMBO. I am sitting here like WTF IS THIS SHZXHT.

I don't know what to do, I am super stressed out. I hope this helps, I still can't think straight.

Lawyers give out incorrect information all the time, just like yours has.

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor. You already got SA yes? And did you submit proof of employment with the application?

Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message for details - This is what my CIC account says

Hi there! I'm a December 7, 2017 applicant. Actually, I'm the sponsor and I've applied for my family to come. I have added my info on the spreadsheet already. I don't know if I should be worried or not but according to our CIC account it says there that they haven't received my family's medical results. We didn't get any email or any message on the account requesting for a medical exam so we sent a request through the webform to send us a new medical request coz we haven't done them yet. The only letter we have received is the schedule A and police clearance request last February 27th. I have SA last March 2 and as of April 10 they have transferred our application to VO Manila. So, should we just keep on waiting for the medical request to come or do you guys have any suggestions on what we should do next? Thanks!
