Does things said on Email act as a Proof ? or the Actual Document we provide!

I told CIC about my Change in Marital status change on 22 March over the email.

As, my Civil/Social marriage/function held on 2 Feb.

But when I had applied for Government Marriage Certificate document I got Marriage date of 3 April on document( date on which the Certificate was issued)

- what should I in this case.

3rd April must be the issued date. It should also have the actual date on which marriage took place. Govt cant change that.
