Impossible to say. For some people it seems to complete quite quickly, for others it takes multiple months.

All,
Just want to update you that Finally I have received AOR today. Thanks God. It took 3 months 13 days(103 days) and I guess I have made a record of maximum days in AOR receiving.:);)

BUT there is nothing on ECAS and I am not able to track anything there. Anyone has idea that how long it will take now to be there on ECAS and for Test/Interview ?

Can anybody Update the sheet please.

Hi Everyone,

I will be applying for my citizenship this month. However, I have a question in regards to the employment during the entire eligibility period.

Is it okay if there is an employment gap of about 9-10 months during the eligibility period ? I lost one of my jobs unfortunately due to organizational restructuring and it took a while to get the next one.

Other than this concern, I meet all the other eligibility requirements without any issue.

I would appreciate if someone can advise having the same situation. Thanks

Can you change anything about it?

That's just fine. Employment is not a requirement for citizenship. People have become citizens with longer periods of unemployment. It happens.

You do need to list that period on the application (there should be no gaps in the timeline); you'd just indicate "unemployed", give the relevant dates, and enter "N/A" for the contact information and location.
