Rate of issuing PPRs slowing down?? (Quick analysis of Immitracker data)

Hi All,

I was going through the data on myimmitracker website and something struck me as odd....

Hypothesis: The rate of issuing PPRs seems to be going down!

I so want this to be a hunch but the data shows this to be true so far. The number of PPRs issued over the last few months is steadily declining even though the number of new eAPRs doesn't have such a correlating trend. I understand the limitations that this is based on a sample of the EE cases but still the sample can represent the population considering the number of cases here is in the thousands.

Please someone prove me wrong or enlighten with other facts. (refer to the tables below, refer to the website analytics for the numbers)

i just did a quick count of numbers. there are 6645 e-apr's for the period mentioned and the number of PPR's issued are 4883. the difference is about 30% which seems to be reasonable considering the fact that a lot of people dont update their immi tracker data. Also, the PPR issuance seems to be picking up currently since the last week upgrade of the system.

Are you sure that these stats are correct? I'm fairly certain that the number of PPRs issued in Jan 2017 is a lot higher than 29. They seem way off.

You're right...i guess people don't usually go back and update their profile once they receive the PPR.

29 PPRs issued in Jan 2017....considering back then there were fewer people logging their cases. Jan 2018 is 304 PPRs reported.

Regardless, I'm sure the number is higher than 29..

That said, however, I think that the immitracker was fairly new at the time and most people didn't use it. I had just received my ITA around then.

Agreed. I wish there was a tracker that showed in percentage Number of PPRs issued/Number of eAPRs within a month.
