:( - do you recommend Access to Information Act? Does this form help?
After 14 months waiting that's not a bad idea, but I'll let the experts confirm. I can't confirm whether it will happened based on Canadian Laws.

Have you order GCMS notes yet?

Today I logged in to CIC to check my status. It showed "update" in front of the Permanent Residency application, but there was nothing new when I checked the application itself.

Not sure if it was a glitch or good news or on the way :)

No - I have heard that this can affect the application in bad way. Is this true?

No, there are no notification for these changes. You need to login to IRCC site regularly and keep an eye.
Thank you very much for your response. I have another quick question that "Do they notify us when they change our Background Check status?"

I mean my current status for BG is "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your BG check"

if they update to "Your Background check is in process", would they send us an email with the update?

You will not get any email from them. You might get an automated email because of status update. For me both my status change and ADR request message came together so I got an automated email for the update/message. Not sure if a status change in background check alone would trigger the automated email.

Thank you so much for your response. I haven't seen any activity on my account.

Why I am concerned because;

I have applied through EE along with my colleague (She also applied on 16th Jan and I applied 18th)

We were tracking our applications and until BG check, changes were the same. But, last week my colleague got an interview call for this week. I was expecting some updates after that. But, I haven' t got anything.

Me and my colleague are working in the same company since our experience starts;

28th November 2016 to 24th October 2017- Worked at one company
Our company went into bankruptcy after this date. Then, our project was transferred to another company and we are working with the new company after that.

26th October 2017 to present

Is it possible that I may be called by IRCC for an interview or I should not be worried?

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Generally people do not get called for interview. In this case it appears they have called your colleague to check on the work experience because of the company bankruptcy. You are in a better position as you can observe how it goes for your colleague after her interview. It is also possible they consider your application if they consider your company's bankruptcy based on your colleague's interview. Having said that, every individual is a different case for IRCC and there are a lot of different factors why they could have called for interview. The time when your application was submitted, it is too early to worry so much. just keep checking on the status. Generally after medical clearance things move pretty fast. IRCC will contact you if they need more data soon. If you are too concerned you can opt for GCMS Notes or call them, but it would be advisable to give the process its due time before doing that.

Thank you so much for your response!!!

I have also submitted all the documents provided by Sevice Canada for bankruptcy and I guess they shouldn't have any confusion regarding the documents as they can verify.

I also applied for PNP (not EE PNP) last year in March 2017 and then I withdrew my nomination as I didn't want to go for a paper application.

Lots of confusions!!!!!
