Rent in Edmonton

Hi Everyone...

we are a couple from India moving to Edmonton in July 2018. we wanted to know what is the rent going on in Edmonton for 1 bedroom apartment...??? Also we need some temporary accommodation for 7 to 10 days on landing till we find a suitable apartment on rent. Suggestions for temporary accommodation (budget friendly) are most welcome..
Please suggest areas that are safe and good with respect to job prospects....

Saw your replies on the other threads, unlikely the poster from Ontario can help you. Better check rental listings in Rentfaster.ca or local agents. Check Airbnb and motel websites for temporary accommodation.

The area near west Edmonton mall looks pretty safe to me.
